July 18, 201114 yr Pilots , I have downloaded NL2000 V4 but only a specific area atm i.e Noord-Brabant which contains EHWO acutally an AB. I wanted to know if this scenery won't collide with UTX Europe ? Going to install these both on a friends rig as he has purchased UTX Europe and HAS GOT A VERY FAST RIG :(. Has anyone tried it ? Any recommendations for German / UK scenery ? I am mainly flying in India & Europe. Ryzen 5 1600x - 16GB DDR4 - RTX 3050 8GB - MSI Gaming Plus
July 18, 201114 yr Moderator No problem running UTX Euro with NL2000. I've been using them together for about a year now and have no issues. Just make sure that NL2000 is on a higher scenery layer than UTX. Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator

July 18, 201114 yr Moderator Oh, so i need to install UTX Europe before installing NL2000 great thnx.Ok, just to clarify. If you haven't installed UTX Europe yet then install it first and then install NL2000 last. However, it really doesn't matter which you install first because you can always change the scenery layers later on, but by installing UTX first and then NL2000 it will keep you from having to do that. Generally UTX USA and UTX Europe should always be near the bottom or the base of your addon sceneries with all your addon sceneries going above it.When you change scenery layering its best to do it using one of the freeware scenery.cfg editors rather than doing it in the FSX UI because the FSX UI method can cause some problems with the area numbering and layer numbering. Keep in mind that FSX depending on whether you use Win XP or Win7, will have either 2 or 3 scenery.cfg's to edit, although only one of the 2 or 3 is the one that is actually active. There is a scenery.cfg editor in the Avsim library that you can find under this file name sceneryconfigeditorv1.0.7.zipWOW you have all the scenery installed.Yes and a little more since I dont list freeware stuff and I haven't updated it in a while after adding a bunch of MegaSceneryEarth tiles a few weeks ago. As you can see I am more interested in scenery and airports than I am in buying a lot of different planes. I generally only fly airliners so there's not a whole lot to choose from that is good qaulity besides PMDG and LDS. Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator

EHAM, Amsterdam Sciphol Airport, is situated on a former seabed, with a elevation below sealevel. As the name says. The Nether(Low)lands.

The Nether(Low)lands.:) I don't mean that flat flat , Ok i will post a screeny probably that would clear up what i mean by flat.If I wasn't I would have upgraded by now, haha. Yes, I get great performance but at some point I will be upgrading, just not sure if it will be before or after Flight comes out.The one in my signature.I suggest do not upgrade before flight as no one knows what MS Flight will be about a Sim or an Arcade, what sys specs are needed and stuff . July 20, 201114 yr Author http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/832/noord.jpg/ check the image here , look 2 o'clock low , do you c the city it does not look enhanced at all even the grass does not look fine, as this was the first time I tried NL2000 so not sure what is to be expected. I departed from EHWO. Ryzen 5 1600x - 16GB DDR4 - RTX 3050 8GB - MSI Gaming Plus
July 20, 201114 yr Moderator I suggest do not upgrade before flight as no one knows what MS Flight will be about a Sim or an Arcade, what sys specs are needed and stuff .Yeah that's kind of why I am in a holding pattern on the upgrade at the moment. If we knew Flight wasn't comming then I would probably go ahead and do it fairly soon, but I am interested to find out more about what hardware will be best suited for Flight before I build a new system. Although, we still have no concrete evidence when it's comming out and of course no matter what you buy for a computer system it will be out of date in 6 months to a year anyway and so the cycle continues. I must say that I am thrilled beyond what I can say that my current setup runs FSX really well with PMDG/LDS airliners, dense complex airports, weather and AI. Although I have taken a lot of care over the past few years to make sure that its about as optimized as it will get and not overly bloated with a lot of stuff running that I dont use. If that weren't the case then I would have probably upgraded a long time ago. The only other reason I haven't done so already is just the fact that after loading 3 years of addons into this thing, I am not really in a hurry to start from scratch and reinstall it all again.BTW, it has been said on the MS Flight website and reiterated on the Flight forum that the next version will be a Sim, not an Arcade game. The only thing that will be keeping me from it on day 1, is the availability of addons for it. IF it takes us a year or more to get a fairly good number of a/c and airports for it, then I will remain on FSX for the next year or maybe 2. Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator
