August 5, 201114 yr Commercial Member Glad you figured out the ATI driver issue. The Flaps issue still stumps me, though. The only time the flaps would go to full during the Before taxi Checklist if if Cold Weather Procedures were in effect, and you selected that on the Brief Page. In that situation, the FO will extend the flaps to full then bring them back up to check for freedom of movement in case some ice or something was jamming something up. Do you have the Takeoff flaps set in the FMC, probably do but thought I'd double check. Email me via the Contact Page on the FS2Crew website. I'd like to take a look via a Remote Desktop. Also, this could be it, make sure you're not using any 'Saved' flights... those can sometimes mess things up. Try loading the Cessna first, be in the 2D cockpit, and then load the iFly. That way you're starting clean. Cheers, B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord

The flaps thing is happening in 15 deg C, ATIS scrolling call-outs via COM. As recommended, opt for 15 degrees flap setting via FMC page, which the F/O sets before calling for Before Taxi. Never use 'Saved Flights', as I enjoy setting up a flight from new and going through the whole 30-minute countdown as I want to build up a familiarity with the Button version. Always load the iFly Configuration Manager first as I take the readings required to input into the FMC, then load the default trike in FSX(Cessna in F9),then load the iFly 737-800 variant. Hope this is useful. Rick Almeida
August 5, 201114 yr Commercial Member Hi Rick, Hmmm, very strange. Please try this: 1. Use a different model. 2. Use Flaps 5 (enter flaps 5 in the FMC). See what happens then. Cheers, B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
August 6, 201114 yr Author Hello Bryan As per your suggestion, tried a different model, opted for Flaps 5 instead of the recommended Flaps 15. As can be seen from that attachments, the same results.Flaps being set before being called for past the Flaps 5 setting at After Start;Flaps again were going to way past the 5 setting at take off,and upon After Takeoff Check being called, the position lights got switched off. Am stumped. Rick Almeida
August 6, 201114 yr Commercial Member Hmmm, very, very odd....Are you using TOPCAT or anything that might alter one of the Config files? B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
August 6, 201114 yr Author Hmmm, very, very odd....Are you using TOPCAT or anything that might alter one of the Config files?Hi Bryan No TOPCAT, or anything else that would affect any of the panel normal.cfg files.Other than scenery add-ons,all I use is FSUPIC,and FlightSim Commander v.9 to get my flightplans, and ofcourse,FS2Crew. August 6, 201114 yr Commercial Member I'm wondering if you have some setting in FSUIPC that's causing this. Try disabling FSUIPC to rule it out. B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
