You mean before you retract the flaps, check the replay only to see yourself on approach with flaps up looking stupid

Yeah. I always hated that. I would run the replay and my spoilers would be up. Luckily you can always retract them during the replay.

Unnecessary IMHO. The exterior model is not there in VC view, so it's not using resources. If they're going to need to make it anyway, for those who want to install it, same resources/developement time goes to the external model as now, but they have to add the feature to the installer so those who don't want it can save a couple of MB in their HDD... if you don't want to see it, don't switch to external view! it's not that hard
