Another "will my computer run the 737NGX well" thread. Anyway, you all know the drill by now, here are the specs:Processor:AMD Athlon II X4 620 2.6 GHz Ram:4GB Graphics Card:ATI Radeon 5750 Sound Card:(not really sure how do find this: here is my "sound, video and game controllers" from "device manager" and also the "sound two" device from DXDIAG: Device manager:ATI high definition audio deviceVIA high definition audio DXDIAG:Name: SPDIF interface (TX0) (VIA high definition audio) (hopefully that means something to someone tongue.png) Hard Drive:500GB OS:Windows 7 64-bit Thanks! I have a very similar system to yours, and would also love to know.

I would think you would have to turn fsx down a lot and I mean a lot 2.6 is old, its all down to what you consider "run" is to you. 2-3 FPS is "running" but it's not really is it.IMO you need 14 FPS as a min in fsx (30 is sweet)will you get that at a big airport with the NG? I have to say GL to you if you can.

What do you think needs to be upgraded the most?

Will Wilson

Don't mean to leap onto this thread or anything, but I have a quad core i5 @ 2.67GHz and an ATI 5770, how would that compare to this?

David Collyer

I fly on an i3 @ 2.13 ghz... and with things set right I've gotten adequate if not brain-melting FPS out of the MD-11.

Why not just keep these all in the one thread? Also, it's been said a million times that they're not officially giving any performance details yet. Patience....?

I had a very similar setup. Same CPU, but an ATI 5830. I upgraded to a Phenom IIx6 1100T. Using *******' tweaks. Now my CPU is only running 3 cores but my card seems maxed out, especially with Orbx stuff. I think a better card might be the better upgrade. Not sure. There's a bottleneck somewhere. I'm only getting 20 fps and neither my CPU (using task manager) or graphics card (using gpu-z) shows 100% load. I suspect that it might be the card however, as the "GPU load" graph in GPU-Z doesn't seem to be a totally accurate indication of GPU load. Any ideas? Robb
