nope, once familiar. The really hard part is dealing with MS ATC, I always try to have a polite conversation but I always end up on insulting it....

You need pedals to approach a realistic experience. For non-pilots adding the pedals, I'd say, would be the easiest way to knock realism/challenge up a few notches. My girlfriend's first instinct was to steer the aircraft (a real 182) with the yoke on the ground. I cured her of that but what that says to me is that those who have never used them should try.
