The 2D panels are awesome. There are full 2D panels and you can dock/undock the PFD as you wish. This is good for me because i can press shift+F1 and remove the main panel and keep the PFD displayed which is how i like to land the aircraft because it affords me the greatest visibility. The VC is also good on frames too so either way you are covered. You really can't go wrong with this aircraft. There is nothing to not like about it

I cannot wait for a BBJ to be developed. Imagine long haul in the NGX? There are three factors for me that make this aircraft so appealing 1. Hand flying is the best out of any of the airliner packages today2. Visual and Sound Quality are superb3. Frame rates I should comment on the systems but i haven't even scratched the surface. If this is how good PMDG will make their aircraft in the future i think we should all club together and stick some money in for investment! Everything they touch turns to gold in my opinion

If FPS are somehow similar to Level D 767, well, I am starting to feel better. Could you please confirm that ? I think it is enough to load just for few seconds in the same airport the LD 767 first and then the NGX, CTRL Z and if you could report them here I would appreciate it a lot indeed. Thanks in advance
OK, the performance isn´t on par with the LevelD 767, that is just crazytalk! The plane is comparable to the MD-11, sometimes a little worse in spots! But you get a marvelous simulation, so fps drops are a given! I don´t know what kind of supercomputers some folks here have, but the plane isn´t that fps friendly as some people would like it to be. But it is a work of art nevertheless! Best addon for FSX!

I guess it depends on how you fly the aircraft. Personally i like to fly take off and landing in 2D because i have the pops ups and i can remove the panel if i want to look out the font unimpeded. In that respect i find the NGX on par performance wise with the Level-D 767. during climb out, cruise and descent i like to be in the VC where it is less work intensive during those phases of flight. The VC's performance i find is about 3-4 FPS less that the Level-D. For the resolution of the VC textures i find the performance extremely good. I agree that it will suffer slightly but compared to the 747 for example, the frames are easily better. All in all, an amazing product.

Just flew LOWI-LOWS , tried a dawn flt ... omg wasn't expecting the light show ,strobes etc are truly amazing .Hand flew it up to RTT 9500ft wow simply amazing ,The sounds are a joy to behold ,well done TABS and Armenfps , steady , no issues what so ever . Fantasctic job PMDG , have a beer or two and celebrate the release of the most stunning aircraft ever to grace the simworld ,Applause.gif
