August 5, 201114 yr Hey Guys, Still impressed with the ngx but just wanna check this one out.I have 32" TV for my rig and Im trying to find the correct resoultion without success. Ones always blury and the nest makes it look wide so i dunno. Just thought i ask if anyone else had something the same size. August 5, 201114 yr TV's are usually one of two resolutions: 1366 x 768 (720p, but really its 768p) 1920 x 1080 (1080p) If you have a 720p set, forget it. It will be a blurry mess no matter what as 1366 x 768 will be just too low of a resolution on a 32" screen. If you have a 1080p set then it should be easy to output the correct resolution from your PC. The only problem is that a LOT of 32" TV's are only 720p still. You have to make sure you get (or got) a 1080p model. Glenn Ryzen 3700X, X570 Pro Wifi, 32GB 3600mhz RAM, Nvidia Titan Xp "Galactic Empire", RM750x PSU, H700 case, 2x NVMe M2 SSD, 1x SATA SSD

August 5, 201114 yr Beautiful Monitor HAmmer! i would take a 30 inch Dell at 2560*1600 over my 32 inch Sony at 1920*1080 anyday but the price point is still a bit steep ;)must look stunning though!-Paul Solk Hah, just noticed that was post number 2,000 do I get a cookie??? August 5, 201114 yr Author Yeah just found out my is 720p oh well itl have to do blury in places but still really good :) Andy Hinton Dell Studio XPS 435MT, Intel Core i7 CPU 920 @ 2.67 GHz , 8GB RAM,Windows 7 Home Premium (64 Bit), NIVIDA Ge Force GTX 460
August 5, 201114 yr It's looking pretty good on my 5040x1080 triple widescreen! Unfortunately I'm using softth rather than proper SLI. So the cards are running at x8 and the PCI bus is being used to transfer the side monitor image as well, so its like a double hammering. Still, 20+ FPS minimum is pretty great! August 5, 201114 yr By the way...To get Full Rez on a TV monitor (1080P) you need an HDMI cable. You may need a DVI-HDMI adapter from your video card though.A regular VGA cable will get you 720P only.Just thought I'd mention that. I have been doing some tests here with my rig connected to a Panasonic 50in plasma at 1080P. Fantastic.Pierre Pierre I9 14900K 5.5 64gb ram 6800 RTX5090 Asus Strix Gaming E
August 5, 201114 yr As posted elsewhere here I am looking for a monitor, and am rapidly coming to the conclusion that the parameters of 27” screen w/ LED backlit, 120 Hz refresh that would support nVidia 3D, and a resolution of 2560*1600 are mutually exclusive. I see some good monitors at 27” and 120 Hz, such as the Acer HN274Hbmiiid Black 27" 2ms 3D Full HD, but only at 1920 x 1080 resolution. Others that get to 2560*1600 are only 60 Hz. Other than the Apple Cinema Display but you net a Mac to work it properly…. Which brings me to a question- 120 Hz (and the possibility of nVidia 3D) vs. 2560*1600 resolution. Which would you rank more important for FSX, and/or gaming in general? Thanks, Bruce ASEL, Instrument. KBJC, Colorado.
