August 5, 201114 yr NGX + advance weather conditions= crazy rolling from one wing to another. Anyone experienced something similar? Weather: 35kt crosswind at cruise, AP mode: VNAV + HDG SEL or LNAV (doesnt matter), aircraft is banking 15-20 degree to one side, and then go 15-20 degrees to another side for about 30min now. Maybe its my mistake? Lj. Prodanovic Lj. Prodanovic
August 5, 201114 yr Not sure what the issue is? I have 61 knot crosswind right now at FL370 and it is smooth as silk. What weather program are you using? Have you enabled wind smoothing in FSUIPC? Rick Butler Rainbow Lake Alberta, Canada
August 5, 201114 yr Author Yes, wind smoothing is enabled, ASE is wx eng. Lj. Prodanovic Lj. Prodanovic
August 5, 201114 yr That is the same as mine, how many knots or degrees per second do you have set? I have 1 in the top box, 0 in the bottom box. Rick Butler Rainbow Lake Alberta, Canada
August 5, 201114 yr You probably have ASE. It's an issue with DWC. You can find it in ASE's options. Disable it. Cristi Neagu
August 5, 201114 yr Another thing to try is restarting ASE, sometimes it doesn't connect properly I find with mine, when things seem to be going goofy that usually does it. Rick Butler Rainbow Lake Alberta, Canada
August 5, 201114 yr Author same 1, and 0 did you suppressed wind effects? Lj. prodanovic. Lj. Prodanovic

August 5, 201114 yr Author All that is enabled. Now, at 25kts crosswind that baniking issue is gone. Have to look at ASE @Rick: I have pretty much same settings as you. Thanks all Lj. Prodanovic. August 5, 201114 yr Do you need to have turbulance disabled in the FSX settings as with other PMDG add ons ive got to avoid the a/c starting random turns? Cheers Wayne Aisbitt
August 5, 201114 yr Author Dont know, I have had big problems with concorde x but I fixed it with FSUIPC smoothing... I didnt expect another weather problem :) Lj. Prodanovic Lj. Prodanovic
August 5, 201114 yr Commercial Member Disable that "Deity Condemned" (see politically correct !) turbulence effects option in Options/Display/Weather FSX Menu. Just disable. I don't know who coded this thing into FSX but he did not know what he was doing. ==================================== E M V Precision Manuals Development Group ====================================
