August 5, 201114 yr If I format and reinstall everything, I will obviously need to reinsall the NGX. Is there any steps that I should take BEFORE I format? Is there a way to deactivate the NGX to "free up" my activated serial? Or should I just go ahead with the format and reinstall? Thanks for all your support PMDG! <---------------> Mike Murawski
August 5, 201114 yr At least in my experience, if you use the same computer, you can activate as many times as you want as long as you hardware doesn't change dramatically. I don't think there's any way that you can deactivate the plane. You get (I think) 3 activations, and after that you have to send a support ticket asking for more. Unfortunately, it doesn't appear that activations "regenerate" over time, like they do with the DCS A-10 and other products (where you would get, say, 1 new activation a month, and only have to submit a ticket after that). Any advice would be apprechiated, love the plane and really dont want to 'break' it Cheers Sam Schiphorst - 1138912
August 6, 201114 yr Same here... Can it be installed on 2 computers (e.g a desktop and a lapop) wih the same license ?Thanks too much, too soon....
August 6, 201114 yr Commercial Member As long as you are not using it simultaneously on the desktop and laptop (ie 2 people), that is fine. There is no way to deactivate an install - if you're reinstalling on the same PC it should let it through fine. August 6, 201114 yr I am currently awaiting the arrival of a complete new build pc for fsx/ngx but i find that i too am anixous to try out the ngx. Can i order the ngx now, install it on the "old pc" (still a proper amd955be btw) and than when the new pc arrives (should be arriving in one week) clean wipe the hd of the old one (it will be sold so i will thouroughly run killdisk on it ) , and without problems run a new install on the new pc, or should i forgot about all this and just wait? August 7, 201114 yr Fred, You shouldn't have any issues doing that. Just don't go installing it on a ton computers or anything.
