Thanks Rob Appreciate it,and sure i will email you when the programs readyDavid..........

If you're interested, I have a full color aerial of Whidbey and Camano Islands that's about 5 meters/pixel, very high quality. It's a 11,000 x 20,000 JPG and about 40 megs. But it only covers the islands. Or, you can find full color aerials of Seattle area at this website. http://oceanservice.noaa.gov/mapfinder/ They are probably about 8-10 meters per pixel and cover the entire Seattle area, as well as most other coastal cities of US. I also have good color aerials of Portland (7-8 m/p), San Francisco (5-7 m/p), and Los Angeles (3-4 m/p). Also, have good color aerials of entire counties of Fresno, Kern, Monterey, Sacramento, San Joaquin, Ventura, and Yolo counties in California that are probably about 7-8 m/p. I also have a full color aerial that covers about 10,000 square miles near Chicago that's probably about 3-4 meters/pixel. That one is one huge 500 meg ECW file.If you're interested in any of these let me [email protected]

>Hi Res Scenery For Seattle Area..We Are Using doq Mainly Not>Satelite>Photos As Resoulution Much Better With Doq Air Photos..We Use>Satelite For Colouring Only That Way We Get Natural ColorJust out of curiousity, how are you going to get higher resolution by using air photos vice satelite? FS limits the resolution of groundtextures to 4.8 m/pixel, regardless of where you get your photos from.- Martin

Well Martin I Agree Fs Only Lets You Use 4.8 pixel per meter but photos do make a diffrence in my view the air photes seem to have a better detail level then satelite photos satelite photos are basicly flat mostly doq are not..as i said in my opinon they are much betteri guess its sort to up to the individual ....hope this helps a bitDave

I was just wondering, since you mentioned you were going to use the satelite for colour anyway. I figured that since the extra detail is going to be lost anyway, it might have been easier to stick with one source. I realise there are other considerations too. It's really too bad MS doesn't let us go any higher in resolution, since I know thatmuch more detail is available on air photos. At the USGS site, they have photos that go all the way down to .25m/pixel, but these look a little grainy. I noticed that many have colour in them already, but there might be some holes that need to be filled. Here's an example at 1m/pixel:http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/55009.jpgI'm sure your project will turn out well.- Martin
