August 7, 201114 yr As the title says, I'm using the NGX, with the EZdok camera along with the Enb Series dll file. When changing views with EZdok, the screen flashes momentarily. If I Shift+F12, that turns off Enb and then all is fine. I really want to utilize all my programs together, so is there a way to make everything play together nicely? Curt Branch

August 9, 201114 yr I can confirm this. I removed enbseries because of that. Danko Ryzen 9 9950X3D, 64Gb DDR5@6000Mhz cl30, PCIe 4 NVMe SSD, RTX4090 GPU
August 9, 201114 yr Author What Enb series file are you using? I honestly don't know what version, I don't see anywhere to identify the version specifically. What I do know is all my addons work fine with it except the NGX. The flashing only occurs in full-screen mode, not windowed mode. I hope someone at PMDG will look into this, I really want to keep my effects in place for the NGX. Curt Branch
August 9, 201114 yr Enb flashes are also a reason I don't care to use it anymore. Scott Kalin VATSIM #1125397 - KPSP Palm Springs International AirportSpace Shuttle (SSMS2007) http://www.space-shu....com/index.htmlOrbiter 2010P1 http://orbit.medphys.ucl.ac.uk/
August 9, 201114 yr I was about to say mine doesn't do it. But then I realized I have fsx in windowed mode. I did notice some random flashes of white but it was fairly sparodic. I think I seen the same thing in some of those angle of attack videos too. August 9, 201114 yr Commercial Member I run this combo, and I've noticed flashing when the NGX loads up and goes through its 20-second configuration process. Other than that, I haven't noticed any other flashing in normal flight, including when changing EZCA views. This is just a wild guess, but is there any chance that some on-screen text message is showing when you switch views? That seems to be what causes a momentary flash on my rig. Try to use the Endseries.ini from AOA. Maybe some things are adjusted.....I was not using Enbseries but after saw some movies and photos here I am going try it this week with settings from AOA. August 9, 201114 yr Enbseries flashes when the window is redrawn or when new windows are displayed. Fly with FSPax and the mini HUD open. When FSPax detects turbulences, it will update the mini HUD to show the passengers are tense due to turbulence. This update of the miniHUD will flash the screen. Fly with FS2Crew voice and the display on. Evertime it displays the command it thinks you just said, the screen will flash, that is why the screen also flashes during the NGX init countdown. It can be very very annoying, and it was very annoying to me. I also dropped ENB because of stability issues. August 9, 201114 yr No flashing here. ENB+EZDOK+NGX running great. Hi Word Not Allowed, Whats your Enbseries version? are you using any special settings from any site, like AOA? August 9, 201114 yr Hi Word Not Allowed, Whats your Enbseries version? are you using any special settings from any site, like AOA? Nope. My own enbseries, Bloom off in there, just some darkening in daytime. There is only one version. 1.0.0.1
August 9, 201114 yr My guess is bloom is the result of the flashing. Turn it on and see what happens? August 9, 201114 yr This isn't even an NGX issue. It happens on all aircraft when using ENB. Regards, Max (YSSY) i7-12700K | Corsair Vengeance LPX 64GB 3600MHz DDR4 | Gigabyte RTX4090 24Gb | Gigabyte Z690 AORUS ELITE DDR4 | Corsair HX1200 PSU
August 10, 201114 yr Author This isn't even an NGX issue. It happens on all aircraft when using ENB. Actually, not for me. It works great with the J41 and the Duke Turbine, no flashing at all. Curt Branch
