  1. Yes, I missed to say it only applys for CPU-s with 2 CCD-s.
  2. Please be aware that for AMD X3D CPU-s you should use Balaced Power plan so that thread scheduler and Core parking could work. "For X3D processors with dual chiplet (CCD) designs, the Balanced power mode is generally recommended because it works with the AMD smart scheduler to intelligently place games on the 3D V-Cache-equipped CCD, maximizing performance while keeping non-gaming cores parked for efficiency. Using the Best Performance mode can sometimes hinder X3D benefits by preventing core parking and potentially assigning gaming workloads to less optimal, non-V-Cache cores, leading to performance drops. "
  3. What sound? Airplane sounds or ATC sound? If ATC sound is missing, you should turn on your radios in plane and ajust their volume.
  4. Generaly it is not recommended to use diferent RAM sticks in your system. For multiple channel ram (and you dont want to be just in single channel) you need identical 2 or 4 sticks. Sometimes it is not enaught to have same timeings and capacity, even the same manufacturer, you want exactly the same model. Also, if you end up with only 2 sticks, be carefull in what slots you put them. Generaly its the slot 2 and 4. Never One next to other. Look in your MB manual what slots to use for dual channel memory. It is not just MSFS sensitivity. Its system sensitivity.
  5. I couldnt wait 😄 And wow! There is finaly Download option in My Library!!!
  6. There are no release notes jet, No Subforum... Maybe not all of the deployment process is finshed jet. I would wait till they anounce it its ready.
  7. It was stated by the devs that extra debugging code was removed in second beta build. So no debugging code in last fiew versions.
  8. You have 3090.. So no Framegen before this. So ofcourse you are seeng massive improvement. Other than that it is performance regresion by tons of reports in beta. Including me with 4090. Massive stutters. They just ignored all the panic reports in beta for 2 weeks and just released it today. Its unbelivable.
  9. Good luck to all!! 😄
  10. There has been lots of National holidays in France in May. At least 4 non working days. And there are school holydays, so.. its has been very slow two weeks..... unfortunatily
  11. If your monitor is 60Hz and you limit frames to 30, FG on, you will have 60 frames with no tearing. If your monitor is faster than 60hz in this example, and your monitor does not have any VRR (gsync or FreeSync), VSync should be On (at max refresh rate). There are some theories that even if VRR is supported, vsync should be on also.
  12. Person in the video is known for his invalid statemants. But he was close this time 🙂 It is not the same. External solutions will limit frames at the end of pipeline. This is limiting renering of "real frames" by the simulator. VRAM will be the same, the sceen is still the same all the textures and objects are the same, so..... ignore the vram part.
  13. Yes, Frame generation quality is much much better. No artefacting. I belevie it is because sim is producing stable limited frames on gpu, exactly half from target with FG. gpu is not utilized as much, running cooler also. Ofcourse that is if you limit to something rational that your system can handle. I limit it to 45, and with FG I get 90 smooothh fps on Gsync 360Hz monitor. no stuttering, lower power consumption and better quality. I havent been so excited since FSX days.... 🙂
  14. Just try the other way. Disable limit in nvidia settings, and limit in simulator. If you are using Frame generation, just set FrameLimiter to half of your target fps. Result is impressive. It is not the same as limiting fps in "driver".
  15. Jup... FrameLimiter within sim is a game chager. Ofcourse if using Frame genaration af any kind. But with this i really dont see any artefacts from FG. Never had such good looking and smooth sim expiriance before.
  16. I think that this new setting is totaly diferent thing. RTSS and NV CP are limiting final output. That means that sim will utilise gpu to render as much frames as it can, generated frames will bi inserted and then this tools will cut at set max output. This new setting will limit rendering frames at sim level. gpu will be utilised only to reach that limit. and then it will insert generated frames. So set it to half of your monitor refresh rate (or wanted final fps, something reasonable if it is high performance monitor)
  17. The new FrameLimiter setting in usercfg.opt is a miracle! I always had frame limit set in nvidia control panel to 90fps with g-sync (350hz monitor) and DLSS Frame generation On (Ultra/High). It was working ok but always had some micro stutters, it was not smoooth. Now, I turned off frame limit in NV CP, and set frame limiter in user.cfg to 45. DLSS Frame generation is on, gsync on. I never had such stable and smooth 90fps! Its wonderfull! (At Brussels in ini 350) Frame generated picture quality is somehow better also. And the gpu is now only at around 50-60% utilization and stays at around 55 celsius.
  18. It is interesting to se how many people think wrong about what Beta is in software development. Beta should be considered feature complete and stable by first development team, then QA team, and then it goes to public to catch last bits. This is not beta. This is like "ok code builds succesfully, lets publish it to community to test it". Its like nobody even tried to run the thing for more than 2 minutes.
  19. Yup, auto updated ad deleted all my settings and community folder. Crazy!!
  20. There is no need for that any more. One of the bigger features of new 9950x3d is its new CCD management. You can see in screenshots that FPC counter only recognizes 16 logical cores. It sees only one CCD. There is a new windows service that lies to games about processor and reports only one CCD wit 3DVcache. Biggest take away is low 1% improvement to handle stutters. Tnx for report....
  21. Please do not disable SVM or IOMMU.. You paid for those features and everything should work as designed. I had problems with stutters and sound cracking for a year. tried uninstalling nvidia HD Audio as many suggested, but problem was solved by uninstalling nvidia virtual audio device (wave extensible) (wdm) in devices manager. It is not enough to uninstall nVidia HD Audio driver, you must go to devices manager and uninstall nvidia virtual audio device (wave extensible) (wdm) device and its driver. Device will be back on every nvidia display driver so have that in mind.
  22. Nope, hoo-ha is about new super resolution Transformer model. Thats where we shoud see most improvement with blured textures, ghosting etc. And that is not supported for 2024. Frame Gen improvements are not noticable. Maybe Asobo will implement natively dlss4 features till end of SU 1 beta.. LOL...
  23. One note everyone. DLSS4 SuperResolution Override is not supported for FS2024. Only Frame Generation. Funy enaught, it is supported for FS 2020 🙂 https://www.nvidia.com/en-gb/geforce/news/nvidia-rtx-games-engines-apps/ At the bottom of the page is list of games with supported overides (NV,U, T). 2024 does not have support for NV (NV app). just that Super resolution is supported but no override for new model. Games and apps with NVIDIA app DLSS 4 overrides are denoted as follows: DLSS Multi Frame Generation enabled via NVIDIA app: ✓ [ NV ] DLSS Frame Generation AI model update available via NVIDIA app: ✓ [ NV, U ] DLSS Super Resolution and DLSS Ray Reconstruction transformer model updates available via NVIDIA app: ✓ [ NV, T ] DLAA enabled via NVIDIA app and/or updated to transformer model: ✓ [ NV, T ]
  24. All I sow is that shadows still flicker in cockpit. 😞
  25. Well the click bait has paid off to pay Jorg deserved respect 🙂 So nice to see that majority recognizes Jorg role and hard work...
