In my past experience this indicates the removal of telemetry from the drop, also an indication of a soon to be release. -B

Hold your horses, it's not like this is the last update the sim is ever going to get. And I don't see what's wrong with the selection screen other than the lack of search in the liveries screen. Is there even demand for it to be changed on the official forums? Edited April 15, 20251 yr by Tuskin38

I guess this needs to be updated from the developer now. April 15, 20251 yr First try ended with CTD in Free Flight as I began to taxi. Second session seemed wonderful - 55 FPS (no Frame Gen) 100% usage of GPU VRAM, low but equal GPU and CPU time per frame, good scenery, no stuttering, very smooth and stable Then - 8 minutes into flight at 10,000'/225 knots (TBM 930) milliseconds per frame tripled for CPU and doubled for GPU and FPS dropped to <20 but still smooth and stable Three minutes later sim screen froze/sim recognized NO inputs (keyboard, mouse, Flight Stick, Bravo), sound started stuttering. Other apps (PresentMon, Navigraph) still working perfectly Sim Never recovered and had to use Task Manager to cancel session Third Session same everything as the "wonderful" session - Free Flight Ready to Fly 5 FPS dropping to 2 FPS at times 13.5GB VRAM in use on a 12GB GPU. took off and flew for a while and FPS remained <10. Used ESC to "Restart Flight" and was put back on the runway with 10FPS showing but only 10.5GB VRAM in use. As soon as the plane began to taxi - the sim froze and responded to no additional inputs. Could not end session and finally had to terminate session with Task Manager Fourth Session same everything as the "wonderful" session - Free Flight Ready to Fly 33 FPS with GPU and CPU times about twice the "wonderful" session. Flew a 30-minute mission and crashed on landing when FPS went from a steady 35 to 2 or less FPS, plane abruptly rolled over and did a 180° pivot and then proceeded to crawl along runway upside down. Did return to main menu and selected a Free Flight at a small GA airport with the C172. 35 FPS ready to takeoff, did a 5-minute trip around the pattern and landed successfully but FPS dropped from 35 to 5 FPS over threshold. Terminated the session normally Fifth Session with same settings as previous session, same aircraft, same GA airport. Saw 60 FPS ready to takeoff and a steady 55 to 60 FPS in trip around the pattern. Landed OK with FPS staying above 35 FPS while I taxied to the ramp. Near as I can tell they have done nothing to resolve the wildly inconsistent performance. Five Sim sessions: CTD Frozen screen Frozen screen Normal ending but FPS dropped from 35 to 5 Normal ending but FPS dropped from 55 to 35 Empty Community Folder 572.83 Driver for RTX 4070S Edited April 15, 20251 yr by TacomaSailor add details AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D / MSI X870 Tomahawk Mobo / 64 GB DDR5 memory / RTX 4070 Super with 12 GB VRAM / AORUS FO48U 4k display NVMe for Drive C, an NVMe device dedicated to Flight Sim 2024 and a separate NVMe device for Flight Sim 2020 and an NVMe dedicated to 500GB of addons managed by AddonsLinker / 1 GB Comcast Xfinity Internet connection / HP Reverb G2 / Tobii 5 Head & Eye Tracking
