MSFS2024 SU2 1.4.13 BETA Released

Featured Replies

I wonder if Asobo is waiting on 3rd party devs at this point... in the dev update last week, the PC12/PC24 were still listed as "In Progress - SU02" which makes me think that Carenado hasn't finished their homework yet.

No mention of a bug I have that stops me using any 570.xx driver.  Widely reported to MS/Asobo.

Given the widespread complaints about the 570.xx drivers unrelated to MSFS, I'm guessing this is an Nvidia issue. When things are bad enough that Gamers Nexus does a video testing things, you know it's gotten bad!

You are not wrong.

Can be Placebo, but weather is now consistent in the two test flights at the Iberian Peninsula.

Reverted my Nvidia drivers to December 2024 566.36, not that I have experienced any crashes with the latest ones I was using, but becaause I was experienceing some slight stutters which aren't usual in FS 2024.

So far no problems with 1.4.13 Beta

Flying gliders since 1980

Flightsimming since 1992

AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)

I am starting to get a sinking feeling with SU2 being not far from release.  It either crashes when clicking fly now, or shortly after the flight loads.  I have an empty community folder.  I have flashed my BIOS with the latest, updated chipset, sound and as many other drivers that I can.  I have tried every 572.xx driver, but they all crash instantly I click fly now.  566.36 just about works for a minute or so.  I have used DDU in safe mode to uninstall each Nvidia driver. I have uninstalled 2024 cleanly as described by MS.

I can use SU1 very successfully, but if they release SU2 without any further fixes, I will be stuffed!  I have posted on the SU2 beta forum several times concerning this crash, and many others have too.  SU2 looks stunning for the short time I can run it.

EDIT - everything else on my PC works fine.  No game or other software is causing a crash.

Is there any fix yet to get those dang static aircraft off the airport ramp? I set all to none but still there? Or is it me.

Hold your horses, it's not like this is the last update the sim is ever going to get.

And I don't see what's wrong with the selection screen other than the lack of search in the liveries screen.

Is there even demand for it to be changed on the official forums?

If they made the aircraft selection from 2020 it would be so much better it is just messy in 2024. If anything people dislike 2024 UI way more.

Flew the Fenix A319 from KMRY to KSAN, was a super smooth flight until I reached the LA area, mind you I was at 39K feet. At this point audio pops started happeniung and my frames bounced from solid 40 to 5 frames. So issue is still there.
