  1. Marwan has said over on the FlightFX Discord that he has grudgingly decided to add full screen PFD capability, even though the real HA420 does not have it. So, coming soon…
  2. There presently is no V1 callout in the Fenix. They have said it is on their list to add PNF callouts at some point in the future.
  3. Can anyone tell me how to transfer a view profile that I have made from one aircraft to another? For example, I have a set of views that I put together for the Fenix A319 CFM that I would like to assign to the A319 IAE without starting from scratch. thanks.
  4. I originally took a look at this thread and thought "meh..." - But now that I see from comments above and from the //42 website that Damian Clark is involved with this product, I may have to re-consider!
  5. FWIW I had this issue about a week ago and solved it by re-installing the latest iniManager.
  6. I am using driver 581.29 and it's working fine for me. Definitely working in-game
  7. Thanks for posting. I find that this tweak helps to sharpen distant ground shadows, which really gives the impression of finer detail in the scenery. Took five minutes to try, and for me it's a keeper.
  8. Sorry for the late reply. Not sure if you still need help with this… Yes, you update the layout.json file AFTER you have finished resizing the texture files. You do not need to move the layout.json file at any point. By dropping the file over top of the MSFSLayoutGenerator executable, you are only updating the layout.json file, and not actually moving it. It remains in its original location.
  9. My feelings exactly, almost word for word. I purchased everything they made for FSX the second it was released, but their P3D pricing policies left me with a bitter taste in my mouth. My money now goes elsewhere.
  10. I agree with the first prediction, but where did the other two even come from?
  11. Doesn’t matter to me. I know who’s NEO I’ll be waiting for! Well done Aamir, Dave and all the gang.
  12. Thanks Bad_T for your continued support of this indispensable app!
  13. Not on my end, but I do not use HDR
  14. As roesti said earlier, FSR3 is now available natively in SU2. Have you tried using that instead of the dlssg-to-fsr3 mod? Just don’t forget to remove the mod files before using the native version. I find that it is working well with my 3080Ti.
  15. Thank you for the correction. You are correct, I left the beta using the Xbox Insider Hub. Apologies to all - I am unable to edit my original post.
  16. Having read this thread, I prepared myself for disaster by doing all the backups necessary. I then went into the xbox app and removed myself from the beta program. It showed that my request to leave the beta was “pending” for about a minute and then showed complete. At this point, I re-booted my computer and said a little prayer. I got lucky. MSFS2024 started up normally without doing any updates, and everything appears to be running normally (knock on wood).
  17. Yes, I believe you can use this method to reduce the texture files for airport sceneries as along as the textures are in *.dds format. It will not convert the *.ktx2 texture files used for native MSFS2024 sceneries (as far as I know).
  18. https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/666458-how-reduce-fsltl-texturesize-working-in-msfs2024-need-help/#findComment-5400281 see link above.
  19. You can find MSFS Layout Generator here: https://github.com/HughesMDflyer4/MSFSLayoutGenerator To use it you simply take the layout.json file that you want to update and drag and drop it over top of the MSFSLayoutGenerator.exe file. Full explanation of what it does as well as instructions are at the link provided above.
  20. This is exactly what you need to do. Apparently MSFS2024 is more sensitive to the file size information contained in the layout.json file. Once you update your layout.json after resizing the textures, it should work.
