March 26, 20251 yr I was using the FG universal mod, (version.dll), quite happily in SU1. But even though its showing active in the settings in SU2, I'm not seeing this reflected in the fps, and AutoFPS is showing FG inactive. Anyone else noticing this? March 26, 20251 yr @kevinfirth I'm not in the SU2 yet, but check your FG mod version, here the last one: https://www.nexusmods.com/site/mods/738?tab=files Edited March 26, 20251 yr by Claudius_ Missing the PMDG DC6 in MSFS 2024 (she's here, but...).

Has anyone got framegen working with a 3000 series GPU with SU2 please? If so, which FG mod version are you using? Kevin Firth - AMD 9800X3D; Asus Prime X670E; 64Gb Cas30 6000 DDR5; RTX5090; AutoFPS
March 26, 20251 yr Even before SU1, framegen was showing as inactive in autoFPS when it clearly was active. I just ignored it. Ryzen 5800X3D, Nvidia RTX5080 - 32 Gig DDR4 RAM, 1TB & 2 TB NVME drives - Windows 11 64 bit MSFS 2024 Premium Deluxe Edition Resolution 2560 x 1440 (32 inch curved monitor)
March 26, 20251 yr Author With MSFS in focus, and AutoFPS on top. I am seeing the in sim fps counter showing at 60fps. AutoFPS is showing FG active, with an fps of 120. With MSFS not in focus, I am seeing the in sim fps counter AND AutoFPS showing 60fps, with FG showing as inactive/ My Rivatuner overlay is also only showing 60fps, in both cases. It seems to me like SU2 has introduced support for 5000 series multi frame generation but broken framegen for older pre-4000 series GPUs. Can anyone else confirm? March 26, 20251 yr Make sure it's still turned on. I tried SU2 for a brief time yesterday and then reverted back to SU1. But I seem to remember that Frame Generation was off by default. Double-check to see. Rick Abshier 5900X | RTX 5070 Ti OC| 64 GB@3600 | India Pale Ale

Definitely was on, am leaving the SU2 beta anyway, is unmanageable Edited March 26, 20251 yr by kevinfirth Kevin Firth - AMD 9800X3D; Asus Prime X670E; 64Gb Cas30 6000 DDR5; RTX5090; AutoFPS
March 26, 20251 yr Yeah, same here. I'll opt back in when it's a bit more stable. Rick Abshier 5900X | RTX 5070 Ti OC| 64 GB@3600 | India Pale Ale

March 26, 20251 yr I had the same. 3060 card. DLL-Version of the FG-Mod. My base config is 30fps which is 1/2 refresh rate of my 60Hz Displays. With FG enabled, all fps counter - i.e. MSFS DevMode and CapFrameX/RivaTuner - stayed at 30fps, BUT it was clearly noticable that FG was active, and 30fps a 'false' claim. - much smoother display, you clearly see the difference between 30Hz to 60Hz. might be not so evident when going from 60 to 120Hz(?) - very prominent FG artefacts in the Asobo Cessna. - GPU Load dropped from >80% without FG to roughly 40-50% with FG enabled. P.S. Prior to SU2 beta, FG introduced severe stutter. So did LosslessScaling. Joerg AlvermannWin10 Pro 64Bit - i9-9900KS - GTX3060 12GB - 5760x1200
March 26, 20251 yr Works flawless here (latest version as of 2025-03-26: dlssg-to-fsr3-0.130 (Universal)-738-0-130-1742150779). Usually no artefacts at all, only some very minor on the runway on the takeoff run at the edges of the display, hardly noticeably. Bad artefacts on 2D panels (e.g. inflight map, ATC window) at low altitude with moving landscape behind. fps as expectedwith Frame Generation, also in combination with DLSS4 (version 310.1.1.0) DLL Preset E. 5900x/3090Ti, fps 70 -80, everything maxed out. Be careful: Choosing DLSS preset "Latest" (I think it was "H") used the nVidia DLSS and not the Frame Gen DSR3 DLLs - the option for Frame Generation is not shown in FS2020/2024 setup then.
March 27, 20251 yr SU2 supports FSR3 Framegen natively, so the mod shouldn‘t be neccessary in the near future. You can select it in the graphic settings. Edited March 27, 20251 yr by roesti
March 27, 20251 yr Moderator Kevin Auto FPS has always worked that way for me, when flights him has focus auto FPS shows active and FPS is double what's shown on the SIM. When the sin loses focus Auto FPS shows inactive and the FPS matches what's the SIM showing. I have a 3090 card using the latest universal and version DLL with essentially no issues RIG#1 - I9 14900K MSI Pro z790 RTX 5070Ti 40" 4K Monitor 3840x2160
