August 8, 201114 yr It will not. This dll needs additional initialization data. It will not find itIt works for me and many other people. I did a search for this, and here's another thread that says basically the same thing: http://forum.avsim.net/topic/334584-limiter/Scroll about half way down the page. August 8, 201114 yr Author I manage to make them work together. Thks for that. But the scenery still remains bright. I´ll do some more tweaks and see what happens. August 8, 201114 yr It works for me and many other people. Ethan, sorry, off course it does. I`ve missed the words "d3d9.dll that comes with Antilag" in your post. I use it myself.I thought you ment d3d9.dll from FPS_Limiter_0.2.Antilag works much more smoother than FPS_Limiter_0.2 Oleg Uvarov
August 8, 201114 yr I think a bunch of different payware addons alter the water shading in FSX... but if you don't have one of those want to get rid of that ridiculously bright default FSX moon glow and mess with some of the other shading settings for free, look up FS Water Configurator. August 27, 201114 yr I have a night profile set up in my monitor so that the sky, sea and land are deep black at night, just how it should be. It can make for challenging situation awareness in remote areas - but that all great fun. Chris Farrell
August 28, 201114 yr Maybe I'm just being naive with this, but if you want it darker at night couldn't you just turn down the brightness on your monitor? Kenneth Weir My Saitek yoke mod i7 2600k @ 4.7 8GB Gskill CAS7 2x GTX580 SLI Surround + GT520 Accessory Win7x64
August 28, 201114 yr I also prefer the darker settings. I can't remember exactly where I got this ini, but it is the best settings I ever used to get the dark look that I prefer and I've tried quite a few. I don't use any fps limiter since I have no issues with unlimited so make any needed changes you need to this. It should work as is but of course, back up your other. Give it a try (Click Here). Other than that I would agree with Ken ;)By the way, my gaming profile of my monitor is ok for games like BF2, Crysis and COD but for simming I prefer the "Theater" profile since it is darker and has better lows. Maybe you have similar options on your monitor you can try? i9 10920x @ 4.8 ~ MSI Creator x299 ~ 256 Gb 3600 G.Skill Trident Z Royal ~ EVGA RTX 3090ti ~ Sim drive = M.2 2-TB ~ OS drive = M.2 is 512-gb ~ 5 other Samsung Pro/Evo mix SSD's ~ EVGA 1600w ~ Win 10 Pro Dan Prunier
