Hi Jim: I noticed the same problem. So the next time I started FSX using the PMDG 737NGX and it started in the default state of engines running I did a panel save and of course named it "Ready for Takeoff" and now I have that option available in the panel states. Bob DemarestBirmingham, Al.

hi ! same problem here. yesterday i want to start the tutorial flight from gatwick to amsterdam, but no "ready for takeoff" panel state was there. i had to start with the cold and dark cockpit. thanks to my experience with the 737 in general over years and years in flightsimulation, i was able to finally complete this flight. but anyway......sometimes it is better to can start directly from the "ready for takeoff" state. mmmhhh....when i jumped in for the first ground tests, directly after in installed her, i choose the option that she always load in a cold and dark situation. but since then, the option to load the "ready for takeoff" mode is gone Worried.gif

ok, how I can set NGX to always load C&D for example? EDIT: nevermind, I find out :) Lj. Prodanovic

on the same CDU page on that you can choose and save panel states. i think, when i remember right, it is on the right side, right under the load and save panel state entries.

I also have the same problem - unable to load it to the "Ready for Takeoff" State"

This caused me some frustration as well!I solved it by clearing the panel state (reading for example "NGX SHORT" in one of the .ini files in the FSX/PMDG/737NGX folder, can't remember which. It wasn't in the airframe config file though, it seems to be a global setting. There should be a "engines running" panel state in the list IMO, I hope PMDG adds this to the next release.

Go to this file:Microsoft Games/FSX/PMDG/PMDG737NGX/737NGX_OptionsOpen it and delete the 3rd last line - just under [Panel State]

That was an awesome tip. im Not Worthy.gif Worked perfectly. So now I wised up Loser.gif and saved the panel state as READY FOR TAKEOFF Whistle.gif Oh and one more tip for those like me that don't like reading manuals. If you use FSUIPC, make sure Autosave is turned OFF.

Thanks you thankyou!!!im%20Not%20Worthy.gif . I lost a day trying fo fix my plane as described in another thread, but this solved it perfectly... Henri
