August 19, 201114 yr Author Thnx Di, I never saw his sig . Setup looks good . Try some of the tweaks from Bojotes . Well, currently I don´t use FSX because i can´t activate it ( Don´t know why, it just gives the messsage that there´s a technical problem and I should try later.) But I got an average of 43 FPs when I tested my setup with FSX Mark11. Best regards, Steffen Fight time: NGX 737-700: 37,0h; -800: 47,2h

I would not ask you to take the long road of reformatting and reinstalling everything. wait till someone more knowledgeable with windows checks this post. August 19, 201114 yr I better get my eyes checked , I never noticed the activation part silly of me. Superpilot she is right you must be having a firewall or any anti virus blocking certain connections. Ryzen 5 1600x - 16GB DDR4 - RTX 3050 8GB - MSI Gaming Plus
August 19, 201114 yr If there is no windows firewall/AV blocking it, perhaps a router built in firewall? August 19, 201114 yr Author Is there a possibility of a firewall/AV blocking the activation connection? Hmm, I don´t know.Let me tell the whole story: Before I upgraded to my current system (new CPU and MOBO) I had FSX running with lots of addons and no problem. then i decided to reinstall and try the FSXMark11 benchmark test to see where I´m standing with this new build. so i deinstalled my good working installation, made a new one and could register successfully. After the test I installed some sceneries and planes and FSX got corrupted in some way (I think so). However after installing some scenereis and planes, FSX crashed without no reason and I couldn´t fix this. So I de- and reinstalled everything again. This time I was unable to register. So I reinstalled the 4th time. Then everything with the registration went well but I got a new error with FSX closing without any knowing what could cause this. So another reinstall was to be done. And this is where I´m standing now.Btw. I just tried one of the things Microsoft says to be done if this problem happens but no avail... I think I´m stick to FS9 till I buy acceleration and a new registry code. Maybe I´ve registered too much... Best regards, Steffen Fight time: NGX 737-700: 37,0h; -800: 47,2h
August 19, 201114 yr Yeah. I think activation is limited to 5 times or something. If I remember correctly, is it activated in a way similar to office? As in you can choose online or offline activation? August 19, 201114 yr That's odd. Phone should work. Hmmm :/ I'm out of ideas then haha. August 19, 201114 yr No. It's slightly slower. The only upgrade would be going to DX11 instead of DX10.1. You're best bet is a 560I would have thought that if its a newer card, it may not be better but it would be more efficient and have the newer technologies like you mentioned, DX11Yeah. I think activation is limited to 5 times or something. If I remember correctly, is it activated in a way similar to office? As in you can choose online or offline activation?I only got three. One for my bro, one for the old desktop and one for the big PC that lives down the lane. Both optimists and pessimists contribute to our society. August 20, 201114 yr HelloIf the hardware does not change then it should not matter how many times your activate. Each install on a certain PC configuration will generate a unique numerical code which is decremented as hardware is changed out. This number once it goes below a certain point it will trigger the activation challenge, a phone call will usually sort it out.Certain types of hardware have a different weighting in this scheme. It has been this way with MS software since Windows 95 was around, it works so I would doubt if they have changed it.Here is a link to an explanation of Windows XP activation requirements, the FSX scheme will be very similar technology if not exactly the same. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb457054.aspx

August 20, 201114 yr I hear that Flight activation is limited , you better call up MS.Hey if you are doing a multiple install of fsx and using the activation code, that may be the problem, I am not sure how microsoft registers your serial either with the mac address or what.
