August 16, 201114 yr Author About the TO/GA, what's your N1 set to? In the FMC / N1 page: 40 in LSK 1L, and TO (no derate)
August 16, 201114 yr Commercial Member One of the criteria is that the initial waypoint is less than 5nm's from the runwayThat is not a requirement - for LNAV to arm, the first leg's course must be within 5 degrees of the runway heading. There's nothing about waypoints needing to be less than 5nm from the runway. Ryan MaziarzFor fastest support, please submit a ticket at http://support.precisionmanuals.com
August 17, 201114 yr Here's a video of a takeoff in a Lvl D 700 I shot back in 2005. It gives you an idea of the sequence of events from takeoff to Hdg. sel. to Lnav and then Vnav... Regards, jen noulet http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=6300611547275378344#

The problem is that I follow the PMDG tutorial and It don't work. I flew hundred times the PMDG 737 on FS9, now it's a mistery why I can't drive the beast in FSX ...
August 17, 201114 yr I can activate TO/GA and all looks fine intil I reaching 80+ then it trottel off and slow down.............
August 17, 201114 yr I also cant get the TOGA to work, but I havent read the manual yet. I thought it might be something to do with the knob where you can select different N1 settings, it says something like auto, N1, 1, 2, I was going to have a look in the book tonight.

August 18, 201114 yr Author Hi, Please find hereunder the reply I made to Ryan in my ticket, topic closed. VNAV on ground + TOGA now doing fine. Hi Ryan,I'm so confused. I did the tutorial flight maybe 40 or 50 times step by step without success until now. BUT, I just found what was wrong, and I feel dumb.In VC, I always was thinking I was pressing the F/O F/D, but actually it was not. Can't remember what one is just beside it (i'm at my office right now), that was the one I was pressing. I discovered that when switching to 2D panel for the first time last nite with the F/O view. In 3D, the perspective even when zooming may be confusing as the 2 switches may look similar, and I was focused on a mistake in the FMC as the cause. So, I did the tutorial flight with success (and a huge pleasure), the beast is simply gorgious. I just had some A/T disengagement situation, but changing the option about THR HOLD to NEVER in the FMC did it.Guys, I know you may have heard it hundred times, but more than a fantastic bird, you just created a new a/c era in flight sim.All my apologize for the waste of your time, but my 51. try to solve the problem by myself was the good one.Cheers,Emmanuel. Thanks to everyone for the ideas.
August 18, 201114 yr Hey GA, thanks for the tipoff. I will go into the FMC and sort out those settings later.
