Determine Cost Index?

Recommended Posts

Cost index's are dropping fast due to the rise in fuel price's. I remember back in 2006 Easyjet 73G's used 35. And Jet 2 are now down to 8. Craig.
Yeah some of the low cost guys are using pretty low values now. "Airway blockers" haha.

There are some airlines using a fixed cost index. Either way, untilw e have some FS software that can perform the required calculations for us, having a guideline CI to work with is better than pure guesswork imo.

I've read somewhere that because of the high fuel price some airlines CI is very low, below 20's. For some reason 12 springs to mind!! I read the list posted and it is quite interesting. Wonder how up to date it is. FRED
