I'm getting different results each time I try to fly this approach... This time I was able to have the a/p track the loc and gs, but in single CH mode. According to the fcom single Ch means single autopilot. I'm at a loss since I engage both CMD A and B, then A disengages and the master is the FO's side.... Why would it disengage? Ryan. That is the situation i mentioned in my first post in this thread, but when i continued down along the gride slope, 'LAND 3' came up eventually on my ND.

Mine did too after a third attempt. I still don't know why it starts off in single CH though.

I think its normal that it starts in SINGLE CH ...around 1400AGL the 2nd A/P locks in and LAND3 should appear
