August 17, 201114 yr Full Installer with all 3 hotfixes already included worked fine for me. You can read my observations at the link below.http://forum.avsim.n...__fromsearch__1 Paul Deemer
August 17, 201114 yr I Ghost my system drive and FSX drive to an external USB drive before I make any changes to FSX now. I've spent way too long getting it the way I want it to take any risks. I even keep a few previous backups and a changelog just in case something intermittent comes along. Currently my NGX is working fine but I'll be backing up before I install the hotfix! I don't envy developers of FSX add-on's. No two PC's are alike and on top of that, no two FSX setups are alike. August 18, 201114 yr Hi Ryan / Tab and others from PMDG, Please, for any hotfix should have the option to restore the previous setting. Is there an easy way to get the current Version ? Is say version 2880 updated to 2993 with Hotfix 3, EXACTLY the same as the version that was for download for new cutomers after Hotfix to 2992 was released. What I am leading up to is to ask if there is a way to get the current version + Hotfix update history. If so, then maybe this would be helpful information to post, when peopel most such vague commenst like. "it works for me" , or "after the HotFIX it stopped working" Note: If this is adopted, OBVIOUSLY their current version should NOT be put in their Signature !!!(as all their old posts will display their latest signature, and that woudl be Really Confusing).
