August 17, 201114 yr Yeah it would be great. MCC training is VERY expensive, this is somewhere where time in a good desktop flight simulator could really help I think, same as it does for practicing IR procedures. Airline interviews usually come down to a sim check, but its not just you its you and 1 other. They want to see you wrking as a team distributing the workload etc. I would like to be able to practice because my MCC was a couple of years ago and it looks like the airllines are starting to pick up again (jobs). I might take a look at those other sims that have been mentioned- thanks for the tipoff, and lets hope the PMDG will get the functionality added. I am sure it will, it seems so obvious. PIC007 mentions the Eaglesoft CJ1 where multi crew can be used for an online flight, why don't you practice the MCC on it I am sure it will probably be similar to the 737's. Or try the default 737 . you can always fly the NGX solo. Or you can try a multi crew flight in the NGX just give it a try and see how it works out. I am sure it will, it seems so obvious. If you really feel like buying a new addon then I would highly recommend the Maddog MD82. Its very advanced from a systems point of view, some aspects are even more advanced than the NGX, like working circuit breakers. Certain other aspects like the graphics are worse than the NGX. It does however have multicrew functionality, something the NGX at the moment dont have Johan Pettersen
August 18, 201114 yr Wow, when I first read that I thought there was an S in from on crewing. I guess it was because I had recently read this story.. http://www.ibtimes.com/articles/198501/20110816/cathay-pacific-scandal.htm Mark CYYZ
August 18, 201114 yr Commercial Member Agree with Sekstifire. Only aircraft that are fully compliant with Microsoft SDK are ready for Multi-player sessions. It's definitely the case with DA Fokker 100. Most if not all PMDG aircraft use custom variables for MCP and overhead panel. Therefore not accessible to the other machine. August 18, 201114 yr This is what I hate , they give you a fabulous product and knowing that product needs something important too and they do not pack it in. Hope they come out with a fix for a MCC. Ryzen 5 1600x - 16GB DDR4 - RTX 3050 8GB - MSI Gaming Plus
