August 23, 201114 yr how is your performance without the FPS Limiter ? Ryzen 5 1600x - 16GB DDR4 - RTX 3050 8GB - MSI Gaming Plus
August 23, 201114 yr Author It still nice, no stutters but I would like to cut it. In the twin otter at TFFJ on approach I am getting 100FPS. Both optimists and pessimists contribute to our society. The optimist invents the airplane and the pessimist the parachute. ~Gil Stern
August 23, 201114 yr It still nice, no stutters but I would like to cut it. In the twin otter at TFFJ on approach I am getting 100FPS. To my knowledge there are only two FPS limiters. Ryzen 5 1600x - 16GB DDR4 - RTX 3050 8GB - MSI Gaming Plus
August 23, 201114 yr But its terrible. There must be another one out there. What's so terrible about it...? Doesn't it work well enough or...?
August 23, 201114 yr Author 1. You have to open via a batch2. Interfers with ENB when I sometimes use it3. Annoying to change your FPS limit. Both optimists and pessimists contribute to our society. The optimist invents the airplane and the pessimist the parachute. ~Gil Stern
August 23, 201114 yr 1. Yes, so...? I have to agree though that Antilag is easier to use because you simply install it and you're done. But then again, I don't see the difference in having to doubleclick on the shortcut to FSX.exe or the shortcut to the limiter.bat...2. Ah, that might be a problem...3. You mean ingame...? Because changing the limiter.bat is just as easy as changing the Antilag.ini..! You do know you don't need Java at ALL for that bat limiter? As I've said before: I also have that black screen and I don't see what's the problem, specially if Antilag performs better than the other limiter... I don't care about a black screen because it is 'unblacked' easily and it won't hurt your computer or something like that...
August 23, 201114 yr Author The problem is I can only do one flight at once. I can't go back to the menu then reselect a flight or something, one it is. Both optimists and pessimists contribute to our society. The optimist invents the airplane and the pessimist the parachute. ~Gil Stern
August 23, 201114 yr The only annoying thing for me about the java limiter is the cmd window that pops up (I don't use ENB) I use taskkill from the Windows Resource Tool Kits to shut it down and all is goodActually I like having the ability to change the target frame rate on the fly, so I like it better than antilag start "" /min FPS_Limiter.exe /r:D3d9 /f:40 /x:OFF /l:OFF "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\fsx.exeE:cd "E:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Resource Kits\Tools"sleep 1taskkill /im "FPS_Limiter*"

August 24, 201114 yr You can press CTRL + C when in FSX menu but I would not know if the fps limiter would work after that. Ryzen 5 1600x - 16GB DDR4 - RTX 3050 8GB - MSI Gaming Plus
