You will pay more for an Alienware laptop, you[generic] are paying for marketing not hardware....desktop equivalent is at least half the price. While I suspect you can still hook up a yoke, peddles, .......a laptop on the move will be, most likely, keyboard flight controlled - which takes away around 90% of ..........................you know what!!!! I'm bored. Just get a good computer.

Anyone using the Alienware m17x laptops with fsx/737ngx ? Whats the performance ? I was currently planning to buy one and was wondering if anyone could give me a heads up ? Specifications etc ?

What are your m14x specifications ? Add - ons ? ( REX, 737NGX, etc ) I did have a look at the m14x, but wanted a bigger screen as such comparatively.

Um, I have8GB @7200RPi7 2.2Ghz1.5GB Graphics.I don't remember everything off the top of my head. Yeah, i thought the screen would be to small (considering i have a 22" desktop) but i was pleseantly surprised at how good everything looks. I am really really happy witht he performance and screen size! Save a a few hundred $$ and get the 14X!!! You wont be disappointed! Mitch Bowman

I have an Alienware desktop and it runs it 30fps locked without any issues. I'm very pleased with my Alienware. Used to build my own machines but with my eyesight going bad due to age and patience also going it was just easier to buy a preassembled computer.
