Hi all! today i have bought 737ngx and at first just tried a ils approach). when it was about 1500ft, all controll of the plane was freezd, all displays do not react on anything, finaly i crashed. its allways when ILS. Hi!Please sign also your full name in your sign, according to Forum rules.There are tons of post about this freezing problem. Also there are a Hotfixyou could install and see if it helps you.PMDG are working on it I guess./ Leffe

Edit: Leif beat me too it. A few questions. What airport/addon scenery are you on approach to? What Operating system? PC specs? Is there any error messages appear when it crashes? Weather radar has not been simulated in the NGX as it is too FPS intensive and not accurate enough to consider worth having. If he purchased today, the installer will already contain latest hotfix

Thanks. Airport was around las angeles, its default. i useing WIN 7 (64bit) i7920 4.00 overclock. nvidia 295gtx. kingston ddr3, Asus p6t deluxe. Nothing is appeared. before that i have changed visibility to 200 meters. after click OK, it freezes. but i dont think what it was a problem.. you wont need hotfixes as the latest installer already contains them. I need you to do something for me. Right click on computer and click properties. Click advanced system settings on the left side. Click the advanced tab and tell me what the number is under the Virtual Memory box.

Crash to desktop. Okay no message. Usually there is a message coming up saying the module that caused the crash if its NGX related. hmmm

There is NO weather radar on the NGX because it was not possible to simulatedue to FSX's weather data etc.

He's talking about a panel freeze, not a ctd from what I gather. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a fix for this yet if the hot fixes don't solve the problem.

Because PMDG's primary goal is to fix the activation issues

iilya-PMDG is working ona SP1 to fix any issues like this, In the mean time stopping the freezes are quite simple. The freezes are Primiarly casued by AutoGen settings and other add-ons 'clogging " your system up. here is what I did to elimanate my freezes- Reproduce a CTD so that you will be able to test. Let the CTD occur and then restart FSX. Go to your settings and turn down the Autogen and water settings (1.0x or lower for water, Normal or less on the autogen) Now try it again, same senario, no crash- fixed. IF you still get a CTD, then turn off UT2( i do this ONLY at dense airports). If you still get a crash- keep turning the Density settings down. ONLY on the Autogen and Scenery complexity Im willing to bet you one dollar this will help you. cheers! EDIT- i noticed a increase of 10 FPS as well
