Hi guys, I'll start by saying that this is the greatest add-on EVER! but...... 1. My Saytek yoke disables itself when I get to the takeoff page in the FMC (my TQ also does this). I tested this with all the variants that come with the product2. I also get a OH panel freeze. I can move the buttons but nothing happens eg: Trying to set the arrival altitude, the numbers dont change.3. before I get to the takeoff page in the FMC, everything works great I have a kick a... machine so this is not hardware related + all my other add-ons work great (tested) when not using the NGXKnown issues that i'm also having: 1. Aivlasoft EFB does not show traffic when this plane is in use (only this plane) tested. This one is a biggy.2. FSpassengers does not work (I'll get over it...) A patch would be greatly appreciated. So far I love the NGX. It looks awsome. Just wish I could takeoff with it at least once to test it out.The latest patch is allreay installed. I bought the product after it came out. Any help would greatly be appreciated. ThanksChris

Might not be related, but which version of FSUIPC do you use?Do you have the hot fixes installed?Do you have traffic displaying on tcas? Is this online or offline trafficCheersChris

I checked my FSUIPC version this morning before going to work after reading your answer and found out I was 1 version behind (good call!) :-)Yes traffic is being displayed on TCAS. This is offline for now. I want to get used to the plane before flying online with it.I tried loading the aircraft without any other add-ons this morning (no weather, traffic etc) after updating FSUIPC but I got a CTD after turning on the power. I didnt have time to reboot/reload but will have a go at it again this evening. Man I hate troubleshooting! Cant wait to fly this lovely bird. My guess is once it's stable it will be the greatest plane ever flown in FSX. I will update the post after I try again this evening. ThanksChris

Have u got the 1.4 patch for aivlasoft efb? This seems to have cured my trouble. It's downloadble from their homepage, and works with the demo version too.Oh and I believe Fs passengers is a no no with ngx. However, I read on here somewhere that if you disable all the payload options etc then it will run. I cannot confirm this however.

Hi Jason, Thanks for the reply I did install the SP4 from Aivlasoft the day after it came out. I read the info for FSPassenger but that issue does not bother me much. I can live without it.For me the most imprtant thing is to get the model working like it's supposed to and then to get EFB working with it. ThanksChris

It's so frustrating the little efb hitch. For me it puts me off buying it at the moment. I'm going to miss it after the 30 days are up. Hope u get sorted.

Ok. I tried updating my FSUIPC. Still no go. The panel and my yoke/TQ freeze up everytime I get to the takeoff page in the FMC. I also tried again with no add-ons what so ever..still the same. I spent enought days troubleshooting. I'm parking the model until PMDG comes up with a patch of some kind. I'm staring to think I should of listenned to my inner voice and wait a bit before buying the product. For now, i'm stuck with a model I cant fly and allready spent the money on it. Getting very annoyed with it. I cant beleive the testing crew did not see this before release. I trully hope PMDG fixes this soon. Chris

Did you open a support ticket with PMDG?

I don't know if this will help but here are a few things to try.Try starting from a different panel state, after that try deleting your default flight to get back to the Trike at Friday harbour. This solved my engines not starting correctly and it has helped others too.At what stage in the preflight programming of the FMC do you access the Take off page? Have you already executed a route? Have you completed the Performance initialisation?I sometimes have a CTD when on climb out and thrust reduction is selected, I have to manually input these during preflight to stop that happening.Dan.

I've got FSPassengers working well with the NGX. As stated above, before starting your first flight in FSP, force disable the fuel and passenger loading. You still get to tell FSP that you are carrying passengers, it just doesn't actually change the weight of the airplane. You do that yourself before starting each flight.

1.4? Do you mean 1.3.1 SP4 or is there a new patch out already?

Gave that a shot last night. Same result. Panel freeze but thanks for the tip.
