Eeeeeek! My head hurts! Mega confused now. There are so many small changes now. Paul, would you consider reposting to 'sumerise' everything into a single post?
Yeah, that's not such a bad idea. A repost or a pdf etc would help so that all of the changes made along the way can be summarised. It migh be worth highlighting the settings i) for ASE users, and ii) for FSX weather users, just to distinguish between the two.

Hi guys does your 737 show the correct wind direction on the HSI? Does the wind aloft data from ASE macth that reading? I'm asking because mine doesn't despite having tuned the settings suggested here in this post....? Thanks...

Mine works fine. Where are you looking at the Winds aloft direction? You talking about in ASE Xgauge with the Wind Arrows? If so make sure you set it to the altitude your currently at. If your looking at the default level its set to SFC (Surface Wind Conditions) and you have to increase it until its up around your flight altitude. Then they should match.
