X-Plane and AI planes

Featured Replies

Hi, I was wondering how X-Plane is handling AI Traffic? Do they have/will have something like MyTraffic or UT2 so skies and airports can get nicely crowded?

Hi, You record planes landing and taking off or download recorded loops from others. The loops are for a specific airport only.

Just to add to that, you are limited to 20 aircraft. X-Plane 10 is likely to change all that, and have a system more like FS, however the big open question is will we still be limited to 20 AI aircraft? Some of Austin's statements in the past seem to indicate yes, but others say no it will be more open. That is yet to be confirmed one way or the other.

Thanks

Tom

It's always best to read the official word. Either from Ben Supnik or Austin Meyer. Whatever is said by anyone else (unless directly quoted from the aforementioned people) is purely speculation and should be treated as such.

so limited to 20 aircraft .... based on the input
