No minimums call-outs on appraoch

I do have the minimums call out selected to "minimums" in the FMC and the "approaching minimums" one as well. But when after i dial in ann amount say 350, more often than not there is no aural call out. Am i doing something wrong? Mitch bowman

yes. I don't even know what Baro mins does.

Baro uses the Barometer and Radio uses the radio !Have you also selected the other numbers in the CDU ?2500, 500 etc. also.................try using a lower number for Minimums.100 is normal for am ILS approach.

yeah, all of the other aural call outs are fine. jus the minimums ones. BARO isn't really used that often is it? Mitch Bowman

I have this problem as well. I usually have the 'baro' minimums set. Martin.

If you, for instance have set Baro 200 while the airport Elev is at 300 you'l never hear the call. Just check your altitudes and make sure you're not confusing things. I always work in Baro.

Thats a really good point. Just plug in the MSL values in the minimums table.

I landed at an airport with field elevation of 97 ft and had 360 plugged in for mins and didnt hear it
