Okay I see now. I will check it out tomorrow when I am flying the NGX again. Right now I doing a 10 hour Flight from Amersterdam to Miami in the 747-400 for UPS.

Watch this video, pay attention particularly starting from 04:05, then you'll understand my question:
Ok I figured it all out now, and why you can't see the Blue Arc. It's an option you have to turn on in the CDU. Go to Setup, Options, Simulation and find the Option that says Show Thrust Lever Position. (Set it to When Moving) If you are in Hold Arm Only Option in Aircraft, Equipment, you will see the blue arc when you try to move the throttles at cruise. Will turn white when you disarm the auto-throttle. Same applys to the Never Option. If you have it set to always you won't see the Blue Arc at all cause it only shows when the Throttle is locked out. I had to go back to my original setup. Having Thrust reverse on the throttle was not working out well. Sometimes it was completely messing up the auto throttle and it took all kinda button pushing crap to get it working again. On top of that if your landing on a short runway like I am going to be soon at Santos Dumont at 4300 feet I don't have time to fiddle with the throttle wait a sec then pull it all way back. I need the thrust reversers ASAP. So I went back and assigned Button 1 the trigger for the Reversers. When PMDG Advised about not assigning axis in FSUIPC the had a good reason, cause it does not appear that the NGX does not like that at all.

i have my reverse set to a slider on my X52 via the FSX Mixture axis and FSUIPC...check out the manual how to do this.

Bingo. And set the "Throttle cut" command to trigger when the button is released. Glad you're back Phil.
You are my hero! I've been looking for the best way to cut my reverse without applying forward thrust. Thanks, Nathan Harwood
