September 7, 201114 yr This is a flight I just completed - Bournemouth to Corfu I decided to fly Air Austral's Boeing 737-800(WL) on very odd route for this aircraft - but I love the livery so much I could not help myself! Here is my flight path today, minus the SID/STAR On short finals into Corfu Shut down and waiting for the next set of PAX for return service... Only posted a few times, still getting used to how to take more then one photo at a time (with out exiting FSX after each photo)... Any suggestions? Kimberly
September 7, 201114 yr Commercial Member Interesting flight, I need to get out more in the International arena and start exploring the FSX world. Nice shots. Within FSX, by default the "V" key will take snapshots for you, those snapshots taking "in game" are stored in your pictures folder under "Flight Simulator X files". FSX captures them as .bmp which will be larger then to 250kb size limitation for AVSIM, so you will have to utilize a photo editing application and reduce the image to the forums requirements. So you can capture as many images as you like I use Fraps which gives me the option to choose between .bmp, .jpg, .png, and .tif, so the only thing if I have to do is re-size the image to 1600x1000 or lower, if I am using .jpg. There are a few other "freeware" screen capture programs with added functionality, and I am sure some of our FS photographers will chime in and give you a few pointers. Regarding "freeware" photo editing software many use "Gimp" which I understand is failry good. I have also used some of the online picture sites like "Flickr, PhotoBucket, etc" as they too have internal editing capabilities. Over all I prefer PhotoShop, still trying to learn the intricacies of it but it is a great program. Cheers, if I can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask KROSWYND a.k.a KILO_WHISKEYMajestic Software Development/Support Sys 1: AMD 7950X3D, NOCTUA D15S, Gigabyte Elite B650, MSI 4090, 64Gb Ram, Corsair 850 Power Supply, 2x2TB M.2 Samsung 980s, 1x4TB WDD M.2, 6xNoctua 120mm case fans, LG C2 55" OLED running at 120Hz for the monitor, Win11. September 7, 201114 yr With FSX the internal screen shot key is the best idea. Just resizing as Simeon said and you´re good to go. In FS9 I use gamescreen since some time with no problem at all. and the obvious editing is done with Photoshop. A bit tricky at first but as soon as you understand how it works, it´s fairly easy. For storage I prefer Photobucket. It´s easy and free to use and I managed to get unlimited storage for free.
