Panel State

Featured Replies

A quick question...I am very keen to use the "wear and tear" feature of the PMDG...I have flown some 100 hours with it, and it loads a specific cold and dark panel every time, with failures switched on...so far I have not had a single one, hydraulic fluid is always the same, and nothing changes.... I noticed you can load "previous flight"...is this the correct way to load the aircraft to make best use of the simulation features of the aeroplane?

Just bumping this one up a tad.I the latter the correct way to do it? I have the CDU option just set to load previous panelstate, but it just keeps loading an old version of the planes state. With engines on, and half a route saved in the CDU.If I'm gonna save everytime I get a bunch of panelstates as I need a new name everytime...

Where do you find 'Load last pannel state'? I have never seen this in the CDU.

But then again, is there anyone who can confirm this as the correct way to make this plane wear out over time? It's kind of annoying having the plane start up brand new everytime. And I would belive the reason for the "Previous panel state" option is so you wouldn't have to press save, and make your own panelstates after every flight.
