October 16, 201114 yr I have searched the forum on this subject and have seen skeleton planes after the plane is loaded but not in the Free Flight Area...see graphic: The plane will look normal for about 60 seconds and then turn into this. FSX was working great until I loaded the PMDG 737NGX....now I get this. Once I get this my computer it slows to a crawl. I either have to reboot or pull up Task Manager, which takes a while and close FSX, which will take 5 minutes or so. I am running a Quad Core Q660 with 4GB Ram and a GeForce 8800 GTX Video Card. I have rebuilt my fsx.cfg file and added: HighMemFix=1TEXTURE_MAX_LOAD=4096 If anyone has any other ideas other than scrapping the 737NGX....I would love to hear it. Thanks. Randy Randy
October 16, 201114 yr You must add those lines into your fsx.cfg file. HIGHMEMFIX=1 Enable viewing of secret files and folders and find the cfg file in C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX\fsx.cfg
October 16, 201114 yr Author I stated in my original post that I had added HIGHMEMFIX=1 to my fsx.cfg file. Do you have any other tips? Randy

October 16, 201114 yr I get this from time to time as well. I just load another plane than go back to to the NGX and have had no issues with this work around. If I load the flight when the plane looks like this most of the textures don't load than I have to close down FSX. I dont believe I have had this issue since installing hotfix4. Hope this helps,William Coade William Coade
October 16, 201114 yr Once I get this my computer it slows to a crawl. I either have to reboot or pull up Task Manager, which takes a while and close FSX, which will take 5 minutes or so.Instead of ending FSX from the applications tab, go to the processes tab and end the FSX.exe process. It should close immediately. Otherwise, the same happens to me after about 3 or 4 complete spins of the plane. I just don't let it complete the spins or sit there long enough and I am usually good.
