Active Sky Evolution has given me some great moments over the years. Specifically in light aircraft when experiencing a thermal.Rise of Flight has some of the most realistic feeling weather I've seen in any sim to date.
You've flown Rise of Flight? Beta Tester? More info???Thanks.

Released 2(?) years ago! Cutting edge, but limited to WWI aircraft. That's a plus to me.http://riseofflight.com/en

In FSX, you can't even find convection strong enough to push a 172 SP out the sky - no matter how strong you make the front or how much hail and turbulence you throw its way, you'll NEVER lose control of your aircraft.
I was almost completely flipped once in a regional jet when default ATC put me too close behind a larger jet on approach!

what you experienced was wake turbulence and has nothing to do with convection.

FAA: ATP-ME, 737 CA, enough time in the 757/767 to be dangerous 🤠

I know what he said. However, he quoted another post about hail, convection patterns and fronts....which have nothing to do with what he experienced. I wanted to let him know what it was that he experienced because with what he quoted. it made me to believe that he thought the wake turbulence was being caused by weather patterns. Its all about educating over here.

They are pretty close here, and I checked from numerous sources, maybe it depends on where you are flying.
well mine are totally off. What options do you use?
