October 27, 201114 yr Author Luxembourg is the country with the largest GPD (Most money per capital)Year it was ment as a joke. But common you most have spend 20000 $ or something like that.20000dollars wowwww!!!!naaaahhhhh, the operation is very simple: check this out:My home built PC with Ryan's help: 1800 eurosthe sceneries and softs: around 1500 euros at simmarket and 400 euros for others... (lets say 2000euros)A TOTAL OF 3900 euros.KEEP SOMETHING VERY IMPORTANT IN MIND: Most of the time i was able to buy a bunch of scenery at a very low price especially at simmarket or aerosoft where you can get some discounts from time to time: so keep an eye on these company daily, you won't be disappointed.ANOTHER THING: The more you buy the better your discount. Last exemple, Yesterday when i bought GEX tropics: given that i already had GEX Africa, Europe, and north America, i got a 30% discount on my purchase.Another exemple i bought my newport sceneries at a 50% discount...... i have tons of example. One advice: BUY INTELLIGENTLY!!! Kaman BAPMDG 737 NGX Flight Preparation using EFB, TOPCAT, FSBUILD & AS2012 Leaving the dream ! MONCTON FLIGHT COLLEGE: LIFE OF A STUDENT PILOT !

October 28, 201114 yr Cheers Paul, i might invest in a new drive dedicated to Fsx, although i dont have any problems at the minute i supose over time, adding scenery, aircraft, and non related FS progs time will take its toll and clog my hdd and slow things down.Well it is not only just about clogging up your drive. Think of it like this. You know the saying that 2 heads are better than one? Well same applys to hard drives. 2 is better than 1! Reason is if you have all your stuff on a single drive Windows has to find what it needs, FSX has to find what it needs etc. Everything is in one place and has to take its turn. Now if you have 2 Drives with FSX having its own drive then the Windows Drive can get what it needs for Windows and FSX can get what it needs from the FSX drive both at the same time. Since they are not sharing the same drive anymore you can see how this would improve performance. Now we are talking about hard drives, it make sense that i install Windows 7 on a 500 GB 7200 Rpm hard disk and FSX on a SSD?Will i take advantage of the speed of the SSD for loading times on FSX?FSX on an SSD compared to a 7200 rpm drive will definately be very noticeable. Your load times will be much faster! The only problem with SSDs are they are expensive! If you need a lot of room for your addons its not always practical cost wise. However if your do not have a lot of add ons and do not require a high capacity drive then it might make sense cost wise.Until price comes down a little more on the higher capacity SSDs in my case a VelociRaptor makes more sense cost wise. Remember VelociRaptors are 10,000 rpm drives, and the newer genertion with 32 mb cach and sata 6bs are very fast and plenty enough speed for FSX.At this point in time I do not trust SSD technology enough to spend a week reinstalling all my FSX stuff and hoping it can handle the heavy use I inflict on it. Maybe later when the technology is better. But I trust the tried and proven VelociRaptors.450gb VelociRaptor $299.00 http://www.newegg.co...N82E16822136557480gb OCZ SSD $699.00 http://www.newegg.co...N82E16820227758For the cost of the OCZ SSD at $699.00 I could buy a Core I5 2500K CPU, High End Motherboard, Memory and third party cooler for the CPU. Slide this in my case now and I got a Sandy Bridge System for the cost of a single SSD. It's all about how deep your pockets are I guess. Paul Deemer
October 28, 201114 yr hi KamanIf you are interested in Africa sceneries, there are several for South Africa (Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban etc.) on SimMarket from NMG Trading.I am from South Africa but living in Dubai currently. I have not tried these sceneries. However, with the GEX Africa + SceneryTech Landclass Cape Town is quite nice to fly into. Table Mountain actually looks like a table, in the default FSX it looks like a hill.Anyway - you have a very impressive FSX collection there RegardsMalan
