I have spent some time trying to configure FSUIPC and the FSX sensitivities/null zone and the brakes work on landing but not on RTO even though the light is not illuminated. it would be very useful if PMDG could give a detailed guide as to how to confirgure hardward/FSUIPC for the new braking system logic. Its good news that the autobrake is now in line with the real aircraft but failure to activate properly is clearly an issue for a number of users. Here the same issue , autobrake switches off on touchdown and I do not have pedals.All axis are assigned in FSX.However I have the rudder function assigned in FSUIPC as this airplane does not use the rudder when in the FSX menu the auto rudder is activated.In FSUIPC it is working.Any suggestions on getting the autobrakes to work and also the use of the rudders ?It is a dissappointment when , after a perfect flight , I land and cannot slow down the aircraft ( it looks like drag racing on the run way...LOL )

I can only speak from my own experience, but maybe it will help those having AB issues after SP1.It seems SP1 has made it so the the detection of any controller brake value, negative or positive will disarm the AB system if armed and weight on wheels. For me, I just had to make sure the brake pedals were not sending any value at "No Brakes" to FSX, whether through FSUIPC or when assigned to the FSX controls directly. I found with my Saitek pedals, that if assigned to FSX controls, that the deadzone in the FSX controls did not work as well as assigning the deadzone in the drivers. With FSUIPC, I found that creating a deadzone in there worked fine.For those of you that are having issues. Check to make sure that your pedals and if you don't have pedals, then check that no other controller is sending output that might be associated with the brakes. You can check this with FSUIPC if you have it, or you can check it with the drivers, or 3rd party applications that will read controller input and output.If all else fails, remove all controler inputs to FSX via the control menu and reasign the flight surfaces only. Without rudder or brakes assigned anywhere, then test the AB system. If it works, then by process of ellimination, figure out what is triggering manual brake output.Hope it helps..JB

All my AXIS are assigned in FSUIPC. First you use AXIS to assign left brake, then the right brake, then you go to Calibration and then go to Page 2 and calibrate your left and right brakes. I use a slope value of +5.If your setup in FSX make sure your sensitivty levels are 100 percent of the brakes will drag. Also you need to check the REV box because by default the Brakes are on in the up position for whatever stupid reason. Checking the REV box makes it so brakes are on when pressing down on toe brakes.

Guys might help when your asking for help to mention what rudder pedals your using. Don't just say Saitek Pedals cause there are at least 2 that I know of. The ones in the picture above and the new Combat Pedals. I am willing to be the new combat pedals are the ones that people are mostly having issues with.
