November 1, 201114 yr Any suggestions for this?Basically, I want to link my flight to Google Earth, maybe like a moving map or just a cross on the screen on google earth showing position of my aircraft?
November 1, 201114 yr Plenty of free apps to do that Word Not Allowed, I use FSEarth which is not freeware but very good. Search around though, I know there are some free ones out there...-Paul Have a Wonderful Day -Paul Solk
November 1, 201114 yr There's this one http://fsxget.codeplex.com/. There are also one million other google earth tools for fsx. I recommend googling 'google earth fsx' if the tool i linked to didnt provide the functionality you were looking for Johan Pettersen
November 1, 201114 yr Also works with FSX:http://www.elbiah.de/flusi/MyFsGoogleEarth/MyFsGoogleEarth.htm

November 2, 201114 yr Wow, this seems like deja vu to a deja vu and since I can't remember if I asked before, Can any of these Google Earth products allow you to fly from the cockpit view or just follow view? I hope not to appear hijacking this thread, but one thing I have been using is Google SketchUp and a couple of other tools to generate 3D buildings and load into FSX to replace a lot of generic buildings. November 2, 201114 yr Hi,Do you mean in FS or in Google E? None of these utilities allow you to fly in Google E, just track certain things in the GE software.
November 2, 201114 yr Hi Jim, I'm sorry. I did mean seeing the Google environment while flying in FS. There is also Google Earth Flight Simulator GE Flight Simulator 0.7http://www.ge-flightsimulator.comI opened that application and a whole bunch of other online flyers started showing up on my screen. It looks like potential, but the view I saw had an external view of the aircraft and a set of primary gauges sitting along the bottom of the screen. Keith Guillory
November 3, 201114 yr Thanks again. I definitely am looking for something more than a toy. Keith Guillory
