I just swapped an 8800 Ultra for a 560ti because it appeared that the old card started having trouble with FSX (only).I've flashed the bios, reinstalled the chip drivers, insured the new video drivers are properly installed per Noelle's instructions, and tried every fsx config file known to man.The new card, although faster, still does the same thing. It runs FSX beautifully for about 60 seconds, and then 1) colorful artifacts, or 2) the screen freezes.Any suggestions would be very much appreciated. System specs are as follows.Asus Striker Extreme Mobo,Chipset : nVidia nForce 680i SLI SPPIntel Core 2 Quad Q6600 @ 2400MHzKingston 4096MB (4 x 1024 DDR2-SDRAM)EVGA 560 TI 1028 SLI2 X Nvidia Mirror 500GB / Raid 1,Thermaltake Toughpower 1200 PSU,Single SONY SDM-S204 DVI-D Monitor- 20 inchesResolution: 1600X 1200 32 bitXP Professional 32 bit SP3FSX / SP2 Acceleration

Are you using some miracle tweak such as BP=0 in the fsx.cfg?

I've tried every config file I could think of: FSX default, variations on Bojote's and my own.I've varied Job Scheduler, BufferPools, HIGHMEMFIX, Texture_Max_Load, TEXTURE_BANDWIDTH_MULTIPLE, and TextureMaxLoad, amongst others.Always the same result. Gone in 60 seconds.

Machine runs cool: CPU cores 44-62 C; GPU core 37-55 C (idle-load).And the CPU is a stock Q6600 at 2.4.

HelloHave you tried the board in a different PCIe slot ?I would probably be starting to suspect the power supply though.

Dude-Assuming your FSX config file is stable, that looks to me like a memory problem. Try rotating out some of those memory sticks.I'd recommend testing the system with Memtest and Prime95, but those take time.

The machine passess Memtest86.Voltages remain stable except for the VIN0 voltage at the 560 ti, which varies between .95 and 1.06.
