November 21, 201114 yr Did you activate your NGX? If you built a new rig and had it previously installed on another computer you will need to have your license transferred. Send PMDG a support Ticket with your registration information. Paul Deemer
November 21, 201114 yr Author Has been registered, everytime after that it has crashed on selection, i did try one other thing that has seemed to work and that was unplug my x52 throttle, i wonder if saitek drivers are an issue with the ngx?
November 23, 201114 yr I got the same crash, but I was using large resolution. Lowered the texture max to 1024 from 4096 fixed my crash. Vu Pham Vu Pham i7-13700K 5.2 GHz OC, 64 GB RAM, RTX5090, SSD for Sim, SSD for system. MSFS2020, XP-12, DCS
November 23, 201114 yr I get this crash 75% of the time when loading a flight with the NGX, I can select the aircraft ok but the hourglass appears at 0% when trying to load.I have to restart and disconnect my Saitek ProFlight Yoke until it loads, bit of a pain to be honest as my FSUIPC controls dont work until I go into the Addons Menu and open the config window :( Chris Ibbotson AMD Ryzen 7 7800x3D / MSI AMD MPG x670E Carbon Motherboard / Gigabyte GeForce RTX 5090 Gaming OC 32GB GDDR7 PCI-Express Graphics Card / Corsair DOMINATOR Titanium RGB Grey 64GB 6000MHz AMD EXPO DDR5 / NZXT C1200 Gold ATX 3.1 - Fully Modular Low-Noise PC Gaming Power Supply - 1200 Watts - 80 PLUS Gold / 48” UltraGear™ UHD 4K OLED Gaming Monitor / 40" Philips 4K LED Monitor / Honeycomb Alpha Yoke / Honeycomb Bravo Throttle Quadrant / WinWing Orion Rudder Pedals c/w dampener / WinWing Ursa Minor Airline Joystick / WinWing Airbus MCDU
November 23, 201114 yr I had the same and it was caused by a bad overclock. Try running non overclocked to see if this is the case. Lennart
December 1, 201114 yr Update: my constant crash came back, and the previous trick of setting the texture max to 1024 did not solve it. I will try to run the system in non-oc mode to see if that helps. It seems the problem is due to garbage left over somewhere as I was able to load the plane. Then when I come back later and restart fsx, reload NGX fsx crashes and I was not able to ever select any NGX plane ever again.
