Aircraft Panels

Featured Replies

Well, I must state that I am enjoying the demo. I'm have a Q9550 overclocked to 3.6Ghz and a GeForce 275 video card. I'm still increasing the settings and have yet to find a point where the sim is unflyable. Two questions. Is there a feature to un-dock aircraft panels for movement to other monitors? Are there any aircraft available with the Garmin G1000?

great ! It runs pretty well with my Geforce 8800GT, as long as I use carefully only one or two of the heavy features at time. (heavy features are: HDR, shadows, many clouds, many object).

Sadly, no. X-plane is really network oriented, so you must have another computer to run a panel. There are some solutions however1) third party panels2) on my Linux comp I'm able to run two instances of X-plane on separate monitors. Works great ! I don't know if that works with other systems. X-plane's gauges fluidity is hard to beat, and Plane-maker is very nice to make your own gauges (if you need that).
