I'm confused by the questions posted, and the jab? News is submitted by the developer of a product. If it's "premature", as claimed here, why was it submitted?I'm not aware of the news-hounds from Avsim beating the internet trying to find their next scoop.There is a link on the main portal page that outlines the procedure and requirements for news submission.Rather than asking Avsim why AS12 was announced and not available, shouldn't that question be directed towards the developer? Same applies to X-Plane, IMO.

The submission was posted by the Advertising Manager, through the submissions process.That the dedicated Volunteers at Avsim who in most cases for years have taken the initiative and time on a day to day basis to do their respective tasks is to be commended , occasionally after a long hard day mistakes do happen and we can count on this forum to draw our attention to them.That said the manner it is done can and must be civil , furthermore if you have the time > VOLUNTEER.

PMDG announced their product way before time but no complaints were heard about that, so why the gripe now?

PMDG didn't make a press release saying it had been released when it in fact hadn't.
