Received my DVDs today and I must say, I'm overjoyed. I wanted to go somewhere exotic, well a little exotic anyway, lol. So, Bogota sounded good. I made a short flight over the Oriental Cordillera of the Andes Mountains to Villavicencio. Thanks Aaron for the Duluth area stuff, I had made a request a while back for that. Where do you fly out of? I work air traffic in Duluth... have my ppl asel but never get to fly anymore due to lack of funds :(

I fly out of KDAB/KDED/KMCO usually. I have about 250hrs around Florida to southern GA and once to S Carolina for a nice long crosscountry time-building flight. The one constant is just because the forecast said it would be good enough to get back VFR, the weather seems to do whatever it wants. The only predictable thing about Florida weather is that it is unpredictable and often reports are wrong. Aviation forecasts, though, are much closer, but still only 75% right unless only 2-4hours forecast.
