New Gaming PC

HiI am interested in a new gaming PC for Christmas and I would want it to run FSX at very high settings with PMDG addons etc.I have been looking at the following few computers (I am going for pre built from some local PC stores - I can't build my own (not the big chains)).First one: (cheapest)Intel sandy bridge Core i5 2500K 3.3GHz 6M LGA1155 ProcessorAsus P8Z68-V Intel Z68 ATX Socket 1155 NEW Z68 Motherboard> True USB 3.0 -10X Faster Date Rates!> True SATA 6Gb/s RAID Support - Experience the Future of Storage!Kingston HyperX 8GB (2 x 4GB) 1600MHz DDR3 Non-ECC CL9 RAMSeagate 1TB Barracuda 7200.12 32MB Cache SATA3 7200RPM Hard DriveLG 22x Speed internal SATAII DVD WriterEVGA GTX 560TI OC 1GB DDR5 PCI-E Graphic CardNZXT Lexa S Black Steel Mid Tower ChassisAntec NEO ECO 620W 80 Plus Power SupplySecond one: (just slightly more than the first one (it is on special though!)).## Intel sandy bridge Core i5 2500K 3.3GHz 6M LGA1155 Processor## Asus P8Z68-V Intel Z68 ATX Socket 1155 NEW Z68 Chipset Motherboard> True USB 3.0 -10X Faster Date Rates!> True SATA 6Gb/s RAID Support - Experience the Future of Storage!## Kingston HyperX 8GB (2 x 4GB) 1600MHz DDR3 Non-ECC CL9 RAM## Seagate 1TB Barracuda 7200.12 32MB Cache SATA3 7200RPM Hard Drive## LG 22x Speed internal SATAII DVD Writer## Sapphire ATI Radeon HD6950 2GB GDDR5 HDMI PCI-Express Graphic Card## Aerocool Strike-X Black Gaming Case## Antec NEO ECO 620W Molex PSU 80 Plus Power SupplyFrom my research I have found that the nvidia cards are better than the AMD cards, although in the second system is this a better card than the gtx 560 ti. Furthermore, I can get some cheaper systems with an i7-2600 (without K) but if I am correct the i5-2500K is better for gaming (though I do not plan on overclocking). Thanks

Trust the consensus here on this: you will be MUCH happier with the Nvidia card in FSX.Which is not always true with most other graphically intense games and simulations, but definitely it is with FSX.I get 39 in FSXMark11.

5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB  PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. Crystal Light VR.

Thank you for your reply. If I never intend to overclock, will the 2500 be as good as the 2500K at stock speeds?Furthermore, if I do not intend to overclock is the 2600 a better option than the 2500K?Thanks

So which one of those systems did you decide on. And why. Thanks Mike

Really, you should be overclocking. Very minimal risks up until 4.5GHz if you have sufficient cooling and a good chip. consider it, thats why you have us around you.

HelloIf you go for a non K series chip and an ATI card you will certainly regret that decisionThe answer is easy, i5 2500K and a good Nvidia card as anyone here will tell you.The K series was meant to be overclocked, most motherboards can even do this with their autotune features. You will NOT get the FSX performance you require any other way, sorry but that is true.
