Will it be in SP2?

James Goggi

They said in a future SP... So maybe SP2... Maybe later...

I don't know if this happens only after SP1b and if it's a bug, but if you go to the (greyed out) RTA page, it results as page 3/4 of PROGRESS page and if you go to page 4/4 and then back to 3/4, you no longer find the RTA page but a position page.

That's not a bug, it's what the real thing does - we had it confirmed - weird but true.RTA won't happen until SP2 (if it does) - I haven't talked to a single NG pilot that's ever used it actually. It's something that gets used on long-haul - 777 will definitely have it.

Ryan, maybe that is a question for ATC rather? I know I have used it, with more or less success, from both sides of the (virtual) screen on the other NG. I can also imagine it is pretty pracitcal for BBJ when crossing the pond.

Thank you Ryan for the prompt reply!

I just tried to use RTA and have used it on another 737. Kind of missed it tonight.
