December 18, 201114 yr Author ok, I'll try oscar-clouds V3 in a bid to resolve the issue. I'll re-post pics whatever the outcome.Same issue I'm afraid, even with the new high resolution 2048HD oscar-clouds V3.
December 18, 201114 yr Hard to answer exactly , today I took off in fog, popped out at 4000ft, then there wa a stratus layer below and cumulus above,. As I climbed through the cumulus, u can often see the darker stratus through them. It's as if the cumulus aren't actually there, ie as soon as you enter te cloud you are back out the other side.im sure this is a wx restriction tho. Im sure there are some settings that can minimise this. That last screenshot is what I see sometimes, light over dark or dark overlight. I think the problem started when I put in 5layers, with 3 there were no problems (I started with 3). Sry can't edit the above post on this iPad -Iain Watson-

December 18, 201114 yr Author Interesting. So what are you guys using in the way of weather injection?I use ASV6.5 however issue occurs with or without weather injection. For example: Set up several layers of cumulus clouds with little cloudless sky between the layers, then slew around; you're sure to experience the same issue.
December 18, 201114 yr I don't slew around FSX and I've never experienced these issues. Maybe this someone will come along with some better ideas ___________________________________________________________________________________ Zachary Waddell -- Caravan Driver -- Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/zwaddell Avsim ToS Avsim Screenshot Rules
