OK - all the best. BTW does 'jonesfrn' ring any bells? Wrongly diagnosed as a reverend gent! Some years back I discussed PFC equipment with a young man from Hobart.

I will definitely post an update Frank & Ted. I'm sure others have similar issues and it will be good to find a fix. Best for new year :)

Greetings:

I wanted to close of this topic for those who have been following.

I returned the CPF MCP PRO unit to Italy. Paolo stated on arrival that it worked OK, so I was completely lost for a reason why I had issues. After discussion with CP Flight they agreed to replace the unit.

The replacement MCP arrived last week and after I plugged in the USB cable and power plug, the unit was recognized straight away by the computer. After a few configuration file changes, the unit connected to Sim Avionics and has been working flawlessly ever since.

Thank you to CP Flight - they will not let you down....

If you want to see the unit, navigate to my FS Website http://www.Flaps2Approach.com

Also, thanks to those that helped earlier in this thread. My best, Iain

I'll be purchasing the EL version + EFIS pro soon; nice blog, and nice setup BTW. Glad you sorted out all the issues.
