Do not worry about it Rob the remarks you refer to are just from the juveniles amongst us.

Hey, Sadamson. You are, like always, wrong again. If you think any of the flight models are capable true Spin, or Slip, you need another evaluation, in the real world, before you kill yourself, or worse someone else, Nothing in the pay ware is any closer to real flight modeling then freeware. You are wrong again just as when you said "...no mountains in Southern California" , at times I am wondering of your capacity to even conduct a normal day to day life, forget about flying. TV

TVWasn't me, who said "no" mountains in Southern California. Afterall, one of my most posted pics is from FLYII & SoCal (Southern California)............. and it looks like mountains to me! L.Adamson --- willing to bet that I've done more real life recoveries from inverted spins than "fill in the blank"..

>Do not worry about it Rob the remarks you refer to are just>from the juveniles amongst us.yeehaw...so i guess i made it....28 years old,and still a juvenile...ofcourse,you realize that makes you what?...84 years old?...112 years old?Bob,explain what you said in non-slang english,i believe it must be some kind of inside joke, and if i hurt your feelings by my juvenile(jeehaw!!i'm still young of heart :-) ) answer,i apologize immediately.regards

More mountains! --- SoCal --Some of these FLYII pics with 3rd party scenery are pretty good arn't they!

Go to the Other site and do a search for your handle. I am begging to think that you really don't know what you are saying, at times, can't believe that you would forget. Something to do with training, "in mountain flying" in So Ca.? I kind of feel sorry for you now. I am glad that you now reversed yourself and at least admit that there is no Spin model available, I was getting real worry. I think that one of the best quasi Spin may be a freeware, but none are anywhere close. Good luck to you. TV>Wasn't me, who said "no" mountains in Southern California. Can you do anything else besides putting down other people's work and insulting the members of this community? Argh, could not resist ...VOlker :]

Nice plane in your signature.....Must be payware & probably does a credible job of simulating spins & slips! :)I'd even say it's real worthwhile as spin training for real pilots!Afterall, spin training consist's of a number steps to get out of a spin (hopefully). The steps are quite the same with a few variables in elevator control. But what better way to "memorize" these steps, than a safe simulation?I'd even bet a few CFI's might find it valuable too! :)L.Adamson

It isn't a question of freeware verses payware. To assume so is even more asinine than assuming anything without a VC is poor quality. It is a simple question of the FDE author's a.) ability and b.) willingness to make it do such things.I could make Fraser make every aircraft spin true to life. Then again, I would rather he concentrated more on getting the engines right. I don't spin DC-9's very often.

Erick, I agree with you. It's just Avcomware's comments that drive me nuts.Just because something is payware does not make it better - au contraire. When I try a freeware addon, the worst thing that can happen is that I don't like it, and don't use it. No harm done to anybody. When I buy a payware addon and find out that it does not meet my expectations, I have lost money.I don't mind paying for a really good addon because I think it's only fair to reward the developers for their work. And I don't like mind-games like "donation models" - tell me the price, show me some screenshots of the different aspects of your addon, and I decide if I'm willing to pay ;) (And no, that comment has nothing to do with Erick, it's just directed to all the payware developers!)Regarding spinning DC-9s, I don't think anybody wants that. But it's a very interesting feature of a flight model that tries to simulate the complete flight envelope of a small, possibly aerobatic, plane.Just my 2c (EUR),VOlker :]

I agree too. If it's worth the money, I'll buy it. I consider the Dreamfleet 737 to be one of the best purchases I've ever made.About the DC-9 - wonder if we could model the deep stall characteristics, though - to a virtual DC-9 pilot, that'd be more important that spinning to be sure...

I think you have...Just did a search in the file library for "iFDG A320" counted up all the downloads for the 50+ files 52,000+, not bad for only 2 days... Congrats on an awesome aircraft.

Eric,ROFL...me too...if I'm going to spin anything it would be one of those damn airbuses. I think it actually almost takes more to get a modern airplane into a spin than out of one. I used to have a really hard time making an old Sundowner stall, let alone spin. I really had to yank on the yolk to get the buffett I was looking for.On another note...I CAN"T BELIEVE the crap the folks in the Netherlands have to go through to get a PPL. That's a crime and shame. I hate it when I hear about people who can't fly for valid reasons.Oh yeah, I almost forgot my 2 cents on VC's....You've all heard it before: Do you fly a real airplane from the jump seat?..lol Just kidding but you get my point.
