December 27, 201114 yr I have just installed and am now setting up VoxAtc and cannot seem to separate my atc from the aircraft sounds. I have set up my speakers on my on board audio and my headset separate thru its own sound device through USB using the Windows7 sound settings in the control panel, but if i set the left tab in FSX sound options for the speakers and the right tab for my Vengeance 1500 headset, everything works right if i am using FSX ATC (which i obviously don't want), but as soon as i disable the voice in FSX ATC, everything goes through my speakers. In other words, i can't get VoxATC to talk to me through my headset without all the aircraft engine and other sounds. What am i doing wrong? December 27, 201114 yr Rick, I usually get FSX set up at the gate with weather, payloads and such. I then minimize FSX and go down to the task bar and right click on the speaker in the right corner. I click on playback devices, highlight my headset and click on the set default button. I go back to FSX and start VOX. You should get voices through your headset and aircraft sounds through your external speakers.

What i had to do was go to the speech recognition settings in W7 control panel and found the 'Text To Speech, then below the speech speed settings there is an 'Advanced' button. In there i selected my headset as the sound source and that did it.Regards, Rick Hobbs

Tried disabling the on board sound and put a sound card in but same thing. So the only thing that works is what you said Mike, but then after finishing the flight i have to reset the speakers to default device and headset to default communications device before starting another flight and then change again after the next flight is set up.Just don't understand why this is happening. The thing is it works perfectly with FSX ATC, but who wants that. Rick Hobbs

February 1, 201412 yr First go to your realtek hd audio manager. Click on Device advanced settings (right upper corner of window). Click on "MAKE FRONT AND REAR OUTPUT DEVICES PLAYBACK TWO DIFFERENT AUDIO STREAMS SIMULTANEOUSLY". After that go to your VoxATC Voice Configuration and go to Settings and change your output device to your headphones. Have FUN
